I'm currently on day 8 of a water only fast with salt, electrolytes and black coffee. I have never felt better!!!

I ended up doing a full 10 day fast and it was so easy. I supplemented with salt and unflavoured electrolyte powder. I have been refeeding on home fermented water and milk kefirs, raw red sauerkraut with turmeric and ginger, natto and ground chia. With 5 fermented homemade foods my GI system reactivated with zero distress. I only gained 4 pounds of water back, so after that I'm still down 18 pounds! I normally do a 36x12 protocol, so I have to eat a lot on refeeding days, including 5 pounds of low glycemic vegetables full of polyphenols, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. This video is awesome to deepen the conversation and personal experiences. Thank you so much, as it really affirms I'm on the right path. I LOVE fasting AND highly nutritious refeeds.

This guy has some insightful experiences to share for sure, but it’s kinda hard to watch this episode when he keeps cutting off Mark and Juliana. Like multiple times in the first 20 minutes, they’re in the middle of saying something, and he interrupts them to indulge in a fast-paced tangent.
