I am a Christian minister and have been checking out a few other videos including this one on Dave. I couldn't be more happy to see that he has developed a strong relationship with our Lord. On a side note, people should be careful about being so quick these days to call someone a quack thinking the person is a conspiracy nut. It's not a conspiracy when there is an agenda behind it. I got to go backstage and meet Dave, back in 98, when I was just a pup and he was extremely friendly. I walked back there and on this small couch, there laid with both his and Marty Friedman's guitars. Of course, I had my bud take a picture of me posing between those two axes...Dave really got a kick out of that. Management was moving us all out of there and Dave actually stopped them and pulled me and back in there. He picked up his guitar and handed it to me, and said, "Dude, I'm gonna let you play my guitar." I picked it up and played the opening riff of Holy Wars and Dave just lit up. He said here man, give me that camera, I'm gonna take a picture of you. It was a pretty big deal to me at the time, as I grew up on anything Dave ever done. Now Marty Friedman, he was about four feet tall and a total douchebag...

I appreciate Dave Mustaine, and as an evangelical Christian myself, I have to say that the majority of Christians worldwide don't believe that the endgame is a one-world government and a one-world currency. While the book of Revelation does describe something similar to that, the book is full of imagery and symbolism designed to give followers of Christ hope regarding eternal salvation for those who persevere and trust in the Lamb of God (Christ, not the band :-0 ). He isn't part Metallica. Everything they did to get big was after he was gone. Metallica will always be ahead of Megadeth, who have more sales, more hits, who still plays in big arenas and sellouts all their shows? Here's a clue it's not Megadeth, they are good but would have been much better if they had a good singer and not Dave.

It could be argued Metallica's sound wouldn't have developed the way it did without Dave's brief influence. That being said, it also helped set Megadeth's initial direction. Two of metals greatest, in my opinion. Sides of the same coin, you can't hardly talk one without the other.

As a Christian metalhead and Songwriter/Player I've commented so much on the faith on KZbin.Here I just want to add that if someone who Claims thyre not into Metal or is yet "Unmetalled" would go (or be dragged kickin and screamin) to a Megadeth Show I reckon theyd be won over into the Music by this band .Real power Passion rawness and SINCERITY.Cannot help but love These guys from about the Rust in Peace era on.(Before that their lyrics were too dark,as Dave will admit some of the earlier Songs he won't Play now)

when I was in high school I used to get so much shit from my friends for liking Megadeth more than Metallica. I always knew they were talking out of their asses because, A: On average, Dave's riffs are far more varied and complex and personally more enjoyable than James Hetfield's stuff, and B: the guy just fucking rules. He's never taken shit from anyone, he's held the same anti-government views since forever, and he's been through so many terrible experiences you'd expect him to be a real asshole. Yet he's probably one of the last real-ass dudes in the music industry capable of writing decent metal, and is still an extraordinarily polite and humble man. I have no doubt that I'd enjoy hanging out with him. Plus, anyone with the patience to be friends with Alex Jones has got to be a pretty good guy.
