Here's an Idea: in those last final scenes, it shoes the ending of marble hornets. Think about it: Alex is reaching for the sky and smiling. This could be because when Tim killed him, he was released from the control of The Operator, leading him to his own liberation and salvation. Tim is shown to be on a tractor. This could have been his "work" that he mentioned when ever he blacked out. In the last entry he says that "everything is fine" meaning he has a normal life ounce more. He also mentions 'hiding himself behind a mask' but that one's obvious. And finally, Brian is shown sitting on the stairs alone, staaring at something be hind a fence, and running away from the camera. When Brian was Hoody, he was alone and trapped. We never saw him with an ally accept when he was with Masky when they were kidnapping Jessica. And also when it was just Tim and Jay, Hoody was alone and Brian was trapped unable to gain his freedom. So in the end Hoody/Brian runs away showing that he severed himself from every one for his own reasons and to possibly help his friends, Tim/Masky gets his normal life back, and Alex is able to be liberated from the grasp of the operator. Think about it.

I'll make it short for now to see what else thinking. After watch Entry 37, 51, 55, 66, 67, and especially 84 and this trailer, I have a theory that Alex, Tim, Brian, and possibility Sarah and Seth was once a childhood friends. They all somehow got seperated and meet each other again in collage. If you interested, I'll tell you the evidence why I think like this.

That actually feeds on my theory that Sarah is Hoody, even after entry 84 and that Brian gave her the hood to throw off suspicions. Like Tim she's gained another personality through the operator. I say this because 1. We never saw what happened to Sarah, but Alex said he 'disposed' of her as well. Even in his drawings. So Entry 84 could have been to throw us off of the true reveal of Hoody. (Plus when Tim gets near Hoody's body when he/she falls down, you can hear what sounds like a girl groaning in agony if you pay attention hard enough.) Brian, Sarah, and Tim all played a part in ToTheArk (which explains the different editing styles of each one.) to possibly stop Alex from hurting anymore people. Which leaves Seth. I didn't know this name Skully around until I looked him up and saw that it was the masked figure in Alex's video in entry 26. Yes, I believe Skully could be Seth and that just like Hoody seemed to be manipulating Masky, Seth was being manipulated by Alex to some degree. Possibly giving Alex a hand in finding Jay again and leaving that video for him. By showing his face in that one frame, he's making himself known to someone who could probably help/free him.

What I find so wonderful about these guys ability to creat such a consistent continuity in such a convoluted plot line is that this trailer was made around the same time as season 2… by season three when we see more of the original b-roll some of these locations are used and Alex is seen discussing having enough footage to put together a trailer with Tim making an acoustic soundtrack on a ukulele…. Meaning this trailer is in fact canon in the Marble Hornets/totheark/eckvanet universe.

I swear that there were 4 or even 5 Marble Hornets refrences in there. I can't believe how Brian went from being the protagonist of the Marble Hornets Shortfilm to probably the most secretive side-characters of the actual web series. Like- He was showing his face for only like... 3 scenes of the whole web series and I'm pretty sure it was only for scenes RELATED to the in-universe filming of Marble Hornets. Past that WE ASSUME he's Hoodie but that's only because Brian and Tim were friends before the production and we know Tim was Masky even if he didn't know about it. Pretty evil to take advantage of your friend's multiple-personality disorder lmao.
