Finally got around to watching these full length videos. A lot of people including me hadn’t gotten the full picture of the timeline that this represents. He literally left no room for another person to have come in and killed them. The prosecution did a great job here laying out the onstar data paired with the phone movements of Alex and his family.

Alex also didn't know Paul was uploading the video with him by the tree in real time. What he also didn't know was that once you dial 911 it starts recording even before the operator answers.So everything was heard before he put on his show bawling.

That’s why he went alone to the hospital to see daddy! Remember he lured Maggie to Moselle under the guise of asking her to accompany her to the hospital. Maggie actually told her sister that she really didn’t want to go to Moselle but her sister encouraged her to go support Alex. The sister was devastated by it on the witness stand. Maggie was her only sibling. Maggie also texted Blanca the housekeeper telling her that AM asked her to come over to Moselle and she didn’t want to go. That old female intuition kicking in. In the end both Maggie and Paul testified from the grave to bury him in court

For everyone saying he’s an attorney and he didn’t think it through, no he did it’s he thought it through for someone with power. He was always able to manipulate the police or any crimes. So he didn’t even think he’d end up on trial. He thought just clearing his phone will be enough to show police and they leave him alone. He stole money from the firm so he probably thought he will just pay them off. For generations his family was bigger than the law. He probably was banking on both his insurance polices and Paul’s trust.

Just to be the devil's advocate here . ...if you truly came upon your loved ones and found that they were shot and even if you knew immediately by looking at them they were dead it would be next to impossible to accept. Denial runs strong. Especially when the system goes into shock. I remember one time I was sitting in a hospital with my baby and this poor lady ran into the hospital she was panicked .. I could hear her asking about her teenage son who had been in a car accident... They took her behind closed doors with the authorities and doctors .... then I heard this blood curdling scream and her yelling "are you sure??? It can't be are you sure it's him?!!!! Are you sure it's him? !!! How do you know??? (Honestly it was so awful and all I could do was hold my little boy and just cry for her, I mean I was traumatized just sitting there not even knowing this lady ...I think that happens a lot when loved ones get hit with news like this. It was the most awful experience When one of my family's beloved pups got hit by a car and died my parents they buried him and then were so grief stricken they dug him back up to make sure because they just didn't want to believe he was dead. The devil's in the details sometimes

Within 20 seconds of the suburban arriving at the kennels (coming from the house), Alex is able to determine that his wife and son are dead and calls 911. He immediately tells the 911 operator that his “wife and child have been shot”. How does Alex know the murders were from a gun? It’s dark at the kennels and their wounds would be hard to see at night. The killings could be by a knife or blunt object? I believe Alex said he checked Paul and Maggie’s pulses. It takes about about 10 seconds to check someone’s pulse properly and there are two dead bodies. The gun wounds are mostly in front of both bodies and the bodies are laying face down. Alex said he tried to move and turn Paul’s body but couldn’t. So why does he automatically assume they were “shot”? He cannot see the wounds in the dark and the entry holes would be covered up and the exist wounds would still be hard to see in the dark. He tells the 911 operator they were “shot” but only the murderer would “slip up” and say that because Alex is the murderer. How does Alex know it wasn’t a knife or blunt object that killed Paul and Maggie, Alex makes that key point of evidence that they were both “shot” within 20 seconds upon arriving at the bodies! Alex is the murderer and he should be asked by the prosecution to just confess and do everyone and himself a favor.

They didn’t. The FBI had to reverse engineer the computer system to get the data as GM sent the vehicle out with an encrypted system. It took time and a lot of very clever folk to get that data out of the system. I’m glad they did what was needed to crack the system to prove what was already known….AM slaughtered MM and PM and thought he was smarter than everyone else. Then he went off toward Moms house with her phone, tossed it out as he slowed down, drove in the tree line behind Moms house to dispose of the guns, drove home fast, called 911, then called Rogan, but never called his other son to make sure he was ok, because he knew he just killed Maggie and Paul. Notice, when he leaves he doesn't head for the hospital, but his mother's home. Why, well I think we all know. When he gets to his mother's property does he ask the caregiver, hey, has Maggie came by or called? Nope. Could he have headed over to the hospital to see his Dad? Nope. Does he call Paul's phone to ask, hey, where is your mother, I can't find her. Nope. This would be common sense that normal people would have done. Plus, a little weird they didn't live together. What? Alex, in my opinion is what's called- Death by a Thousand Cuts. Means, it's not 1,2,3,4,5 things- it's a lot more circumstantial evidence than that. All of these put together- mean this cannot be an accident, this was intentional. All of these tiny pieces put together- can take you out.

This is just stunning how much data their phones provided. I had no idea they could tell when my phone is unlocked or if it's angled vertical or horizontal. The only way for us to get anymore details is if everything were actually video recorded. They were able to prove that Alex called Maggie's phone to locate it, and then they could tell he moved it! All within minutes of her death. I haven't watched a lot of the trial but this is all I'd need to convict him.

Another observation which is odd. If you found your wife and son dead outside in your yard and it is pitch black at night with the nearest neighbor miles away, would you stay on your phone and call 911 at the scene of the crime. The murderer(s) may still be on the property, I would be afraid of getting shot like my wife and child got shot. I would immediately go back to the house or my car and retrieve a gun for self defense. I may even drive away from the property and call 911 in my car just to get away from the killers in case they are still lurking around on my property. Also, why does Alex tell the 911 operator to please come in a hurry. At the scene he says they were both shot in the head. 911 can’t bring dead bodies back to life. Also, how does he know that the wounds to the head were from a gun? He doesn’t mention any shell casings around the bodies probably because it is too dark. The head wounds could be from blunt force trauma to the head. Most people would just claim that my wife and child appear dead with wounds to the head. But he says they were shot! How does he know it was a gun! Because Alex was the shooter. Got it!

I think the 59 steps and all the orientation changes was Maggie trying to get away after she witnessed Paul being murdered!

This information used in contrast with the testimony of Murdaugh, makes a strong case for conviction. The defense had nothing authentic to offer. If you look at the bodycam videos of the cops arriving at the scene, within less than 2 minutes of the cop arriving and assisting Alex, he is already providing detailed information on his suspicions because his son Paul was being threatener because of the boat crash and blablabla. Its insane to think that his mind, within so little time between everything that was happening, would go straight to that information specially since he had little to none information about the murders. Very sick. But he laid this life style down for a wife and family. He lived bigger then he could provide for. People pleasers can’t say no. He knew he couldn’t face his wife that he was broke and fired! With his sons case in the boating issue, he knew when he goes to trial he would take a loss. The son was very irresponsible in his actions. If Alex was facing prison due to his actions to steal, he couldn’t be there to protect his son or wife. He knew it was the end of the road for him and his wealth. Sad that 2 people could still be here, and Alex in prison. But being a selfish human. @@holylandfan3275 I have no idea what to think about that family. That local law firm was a parasite on the community. Mostly did ambulance chasing cases, very few % actually went to trial. And they were taking 40% cuts from the plaintiff's settlement. That is a gravy train. The judges and the court system is all in cahoots with these plaintiff lawyers. Big settlements approaching $500k or more.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he also killed his housekeeper for the money. “The dog tripped her and she hit her head and never recovered.” She was worth millions to him dead. Wow with the amount of experts and all of the testimony that we have seen and all of the technology that has been used to catch a murderer, this should now be used as a case study for young up and coming law enforcement, lawyers and coroners because this has everything. including the lady that testified about the victims injuries at time of death. And it should be shown to teenagers to Just don't do crime because you will get caught. This is amazing all of the tools used and at the same time so tragic and heartbreaking to watch, knowing what we know now about the situation.

That's why it's especially stupid to try to get away with murder nowadays. Odds are extremely high that you WILL get caught and you WILL get convicted. With how many cameras are everywhere nowadays, gps so precise it can pinpoint damn near every move you make, all the other data your devices and vehicles record, DNA profiles extracted and amplified from the tiniest samples, and all the other technological and forensic tools an entire TEAM of investigators have at their disposal... The probability of getting away with murder shrinks every day.

I think the prison experience needs to be changed for a meditated murder. No contact with family or friends. No socializing with other prisoners; total isolation. No computer, phone, radio. Basically alive but not living, same as the victims.

I heard in India they don't provide inmates with food...your friends and family have to bring it to you! That would teach people not to hurt their families!!! I would love to know more about prisons around the world and how they run and fund things!
