CHAMA It's a slang word from the streets of São Paulo, especially in the favelas. It means call, but it's intended to be” let's go” but in a more gangsta way. Like Real Deal. Chales Oliveira uses this slang a lot, especially when he started looking for the belt.

No he just has technique. Lot of people dont know how to punch with power, he has a nice base and knows how to use feet>ass>shoulders>arm rotation in that order to get the biggest punch. Most fighters are arm punching or not rotating enough.

it's not just technique you can see he can knock people out without trying much, his technique is perfect but his body is build to have ko power

@@tekashi828 youre just used to watching arm punchers with forward postures, not someone with a wide base and standing upright who knows how to use his backfoot and ass to drive power instead of lunging every strike or just arm punching without lower body.

@@tekashi828 timing beats speed precision beats power. At 205 Alex has all 4 of them. At 185 he don't have speed. At HW he will put hands in Tom. Tom is slow compared to Alex

To say he “just” has technique is a wild statement.. to deny he doesn’t have crazy power on top of great technique is just silly

@@cillian6460 the technique is what gives the power, and no, his muscles arent a special superior breed at 38 years old compared to most fighters you see in their 20s... You can learn how to punch like Pereira, but the key thing is he made the style work for strong punches, not floaty arm scrapping like most mma fighters.
