Query: Why in the heck is it called "Moonshot?" They go from Earth to Mars & back again. The moon does not have a dog in this fight at all.

I agree totally, I stopped before spoilers and just watched this with my wife. They really could have just had Walt be immediately deported back to earth then have Sophie jump on the rocket at the last minute and be like: you were right! Saves 15 minutes of runtime and probably hours of writers room BS 🤷🏼♂️

I’m assuming that the people who make these think that if they throw in celebrities that people are familiar with or know from stuff that were popular back in 2005 and think that their movie will be automatically good. Just to get kicked in the face after the movie comes out because it ended up sucking.

Alex's aside about the Sprouse twins being the best part of any movie they're in made me realize --- has he reviewed Five Feet Apart??? I loved it when it came out and I think it tackled its premise beautifully.

The most realistic movie ever. It's just about a white guy failing up into a position he's grossly under qualified for. 💀💀💀
@denimchicken1042 жыл бұрын
Technically his position is something of a professional dreamer which I’d say he’s perfectly well suited for.

Qualified? The guy got famous on like tik tok. Who needs a qualification for that? Also "failing up"?

I just loved this movie. They didn’t try to make it not dumb, it was great because it was so dumb and so impossible. They embraced the clichées and the unrealistic spaceship look. I loved the sarcastic jokes from the robot and how cheesy it was. And the tiny cat❤️ plus the acting was on point. I want to see cole make more cheesy comedies, he’s effortlessly funny :)

Cole Sprouse is an amazing actor who deserves so much better, but has been awkwardly shoehorned into these terrible teen shows and movies. Typecasting's a bitch.

Completely agreed when you said the ending fell off! I was actually enjoying the first half of the movie until he got caught by Leon and got famous on their TikTok equivalent. The ending was just so weird! And yes there were tons of weird unnecessary jokes with other character. The best part was the first and second acts with Lana and Cole getting to know each other and having fun! After that, super strange ending.
