Haha, I've never seen a fish scaled like that. Hilarious! If you want a great scaler when you don't have the hose handy, get 3 beer lids and nail them in line, to a bit of broom handle and you'll have a fantastic scaler.

I enjoyed watching that, keep up the good work. You might want to consider an angled cut instead of straight across to capture all of the meat behind the head.

Love the scaling technique. Gotta give it a try. Recommend a sharper knife though. On bigger fish make sure you get up towards the head more. Good meat up there.

You could just stop right before the tail and cut into the meat and skin it if you do it right you won’t loose any meat

i'm from the UK and really enjoy carp fishing. I've watched you carp fishing videos and wonder if our European tactics would work better. I was wondering if you had a p.o. box or somewhere I could post the rigs and fake plastic corn bait we use and maybe you could do a video comparing the way you normally fish to our rigs, bait and tactics.

@skoobz84 жыл бұрын
Never use fresh water on fish. Mind you, you think next day whole fish is fresh. All that dead gut cavity been festering inside.
@Wazzaozzyskier4 жыл бұрын
got a pressurised line on my boat to get around this very issue, works the same, and the guts go straight into the burley bucket while the fillets go straight onto ice in the holding tank.

Scaling the fish with fresh water not good bacterial salt water scaling be better.i don't even scale or gut I just fillet and skin and make sure I don't get any gut
