I respectfully have to disagree with you on this one. After years of playing the same WWE games over and over, this game felt like something fresh, new and interesting back in '09. Although I hated the control scheme at first, I have since come to love this game and see it as a sort of precursor to the 2K Showcase modes we would receive in later iterations of the main series.

Yeah that was the only issue with the game. Only four legends: rock, million dollar man, cowboy Bob Orton and dusty Rhodes. Steve Austin was a goddamn DLC. And the model looked terrible. Other than lack of legends, I think it's probably one of the best WWE games ever made and my personal favourite.

Boring WWE-related video game or not, WWE Legends of WrestleMania was my favorite arcade-style WWE-related pro wrestling game of all time. I played a lot of online matches a lot on it and won and lost lots of online matches. Such good times. And by the way, the PS3 version of the game's online server still works to this day. I'm not so sure about the Xbox 360 version's online server, though. What really shined about LOWM was the option to import the SvR 2009 roster into the LOWM game.

The reason why this game failed because we never had a game like it, even in the 80's and 90's the games were fast pased arcade like, they put too much realism and the fans of that time were used to arcade style of games, a waste of opportunity a game featuring legends would sell easily, I think if 2k puts a hulkamania or breat heart, hbk showcase, mick foley showcase mode it would sell easily.
