I am an observer sir. As a listener. I heard him being very descriptive. I learned a lot from him. That part of the interview was wonderful. However, it seemed as if he was trying to get you to understand his point throughout the whole interview. His story telling sold me on your interview. I would think as a person who was doing the interview, you would look more engaged instead of trying to keep up. This is only one perspective, mine. As an observer before I subscribe I wanna know that a person that I follow, and enjoy, is being interviewed by you… I hope that I will enjoy the interview, because the interviewer is well informed of the person that they are interviewing. You’re young and you have a lot of room to grow. However you could be as amazing as David letterman, Who also doesn’t always study… but admits it😁

The one thing I love about Ali is that he is so humble. I think he'd be the same way if he were on a Dave Chappelle level as far as fame goes. Ali is so aware of himself as a comedian. I never heard anyone breakdown a true stand up comedian like that. I love how the interviewer didn't get combative when Ali got hype.

Ali’s message is being overshadowed by his argumentative responses. Clearly the interviewer knows Ali and he’s setting Ali up with questions that should allow Ali to expand and talk about himself…. This guy is so wise! Everything he’s was saying about standup and comics not focusing on it and doing other things (Movies, sitcoms, music, travel shows) was so eye opening to me. Guys like Ail Siddiq, Nate Bargatze, big jay, Rory Scovel, rick velez, Mark normand. are prime examples of just focusing on your craft and staying in your lane (stand-up comedy) I recently went to a standup show and I was really excited to watch the headliners hour (not gonna say their name) I was in my seat next to a couple of friends and then Ricky velez came on stage to open the show. Prior to this I had never heard of him.... Ricky fucking killed it and the whole theatre was crying of laughter... then he went off stage and the headliner came up and did well but you could tell he wasn’t as sharp and hungry and all in for stand up comedy.... Main point being any of the guys I just mentioned would destroy today’s “big comedy stars” because they are all in for stand up.

It really surprised me to hear Ali talking about how he doesn't feel like he is seen as a "famous" comedian. He is literally, hands down one of my top few favorite comedians. Out of EVERYBODY. He's incredible. He is right, though, in the sense that he seems to be far too REAL to be some plastic Hollywood fame machine. It's all about perpspective, I suppose. If you see this, Ali, you are a damn BOSS and I not only admire you, but I have an immense amount of respect for you and I appreciate the work that you do. You have made me laugh when I am having the worst days and I didn't think I could smile let alone a laugh out loud belly laugh. I know there are TONS of people who feel the same way. Thank you for doing what you do and please do not ever stop! You deserve the best that this world has to offer.

What I like about Ali is that when he's telling a story, it doesn't seem funny to him. That brings a realness to the story and proves that he's authentic. He just has a way of delivering and just setting in it whether or not the listener thinks it's funny. THAT'S what makes him funny. Not surprised that hes not a rehearsal comedian. My guess is that that style wouldn't work for him. Ali is a great and unique comedian! I can't wait to see him live!

Ali, I have ALWAYS thought the world of you since the very first time I heard any of your comedy! But after this interview, I love you even more. You are honest and true to yourself and your craft. I loved how when he wasn’t understanding what you were saying, you set him straight saying, “Why can’t being an amazing stand up be enough!? I’m not JUST a standup! I AM a stand up comedian! Dude, you nailed that shit! That is EXACTLY right! Then at the end of the interview when you talked about the warm up guy, and how he is living his best life, working two WEEKDAYS a week, (maybe he wants to be home with his family on weekends) and he’s happy. He’s HAPPY. Man, THAT is success. That is fulfillment. Being happy, with who and what you are, and what you put out into this world. You are doing that man. More importantly, more than anything, your babies are watching you do that. You are setting an amazing example as to what true leadership and integrity is in this life. Man you killin it. Absolutely killin it. As a comedian, a father…a human being man. You absolutely inspire me. God how I wish you all the best! Much love and blessings to you and yours! ❤️👑💯🙌🏻

Man, I love Ali’s comedy. Seen him live a couple times, watched tons of videos, seen the specials he’s put out, etc. But I find it so hard to listen to him in interviews for some reason. Dude’s hilarious, but there’s something about the way he interacts with people that’s just off-putting man. That being said, this was a great interview. It’s nice to hear someone essentially say, “just go up there and be yourself man, you’ll work it out. There’s no rules to this shit!”

He speaks his truth, no need to write anything down he has so much trauma and retelling his stories are actually life events that lead to more reflection that's why you can feel him in his emotions that's life. His on his own lane, he has a valuable voice that can be that sound and reason to transform our at risk your to turn their lives around a cautionary testimony that makes him Gold he is not glamorizing any of the criminal lifestyle it has high risks and consequences and he has paid for it all in his lifetime all that is raw and insane and it has a place that is fictional in this society at all levels

The Gem I took away from what I watched, was the difference between a FREE comedian doing what they feel... their natural (gift) presentation being funny. And some of these people trying to monetize & teach people to be funny. It doesn't work that way!!!!

I love Ali. He inspired me a long time ago. He will rise through the fakers tho. He is a real one and his followers are loyal. He might be too real. Like Eddie Griffin is funny af but he to real to get to famous. He won't bend to no one. I respect that.

Ali is one of my favorite living comics. Having said that, he was wrong about Richard Pryor's movie career. "Lady Sings the Blues" was released in 1972, "JoJo Dancer, Your Life is Calling" was released in 1986. I saw them both in the theaters when they were new (I'm old, lol).

Doing other things outside of stand up is a marketing strategy. It will put your comedy out there to a broader audience. Ali is from my hometown and I just discovered him this year 24. (I’m a fan now ) . But I didn’t know him b4 . It’s all a personal choice to just stick with stand up .

..id say Chapelle / Saddiq saddle-up and get these people what they want. Saddiq is a natural born killer. He just has a very specific ability to walk the wire of telling stories to any crowd, and we all feel like we lived it. The man is funny.
