This one hour ambient journey showcases a part of the game Alien: Isolation on the Nostromo spaceship, featuring a selfmade ambient soundtrack / ambient soundscape with sound effects from the ship's computer Mother and kinda like humming drone sounds in the background.

ℹ️Informations:
This video took me many hours to make, but I really wanted to do it because I was so fascinated by this computer room as a child. Most of the time was probably spent animating all the PC screens, since in the game, only empty monitor outlines are visible. I don't want to know how many hours I spent in total, but I think in the end it was worth it. I am very happy with the result. 😘
Most of the sounds come from the original game and movie, and many more are new mixed together by me for this one-hour MU-TH-UR ambience on the Nostromo.
MUTHUR (also known as MU-TH-UR 6000) is the ship's computer on the Nostromo spaceship in the science-fiction horror film "Alien" from 1979. MUTHUR is an artificial intelligence computer capable of performing complex tasks such as controlling the ship, monitoring life support systems, and calculating hyperspace jumps. In the plot of the film, MUTHUR plays an important role in the discovery of the threat posed by the alien creature on board the ship.

Thanks for watching! 1. The raw material comes from the game Alien Isolation, which I captured using a camera hack for the game and screen captured it with OBS. 2. I created the individual screen animations with After Effects, as the original screens were plain and unattractive + camera movements for the scenes. 3. After that, I edited and color-graded the individual scenes with Davinci Resolve. 4. I compiled many sound effects from various sources. :-)
