Andy is the main reason Romulus gets a 8/10. Without Andy this movie would’ve been a 4/10

All I hope is that this scene makes sense. It will be very annoying if afterwards the audience says to themselves, "Wow...they totally had enough time to open the door," or , "the android could have at least told he wasn't going to open it right from the get go, instead of remaining silent."

the crew do a capture teh alien, crew say to alien ‘what name do you want like to be called and alien say to crew ‘please to be call romulus’’ crew say ok, so this is what alien romulus is call alien romulus

Yes because in a horror movie being stalked by something like an Alien right behind you…in that moment you don’t keep it simple at all…..you’re going to go into a 10 minute monologue and the Alien is just going to wait for you to finish

@Kingofthepirates-si1gd BS, Alien and Aliens don't have cheese lines like those. Who says it has to be a 10 minute monolog? When Ripley tells Hicks " Hurry, I mean it", it is real, it is realistic dialogue. In this new one "There's something in the fucking waoer", is a bad line. You don't get it. Quit defending this film.

@@ThePandacub69 "Open the door" She's stuck with an Alien behind a door with her friends on the other side, what is she suppose to say at that point? "What are you doing" The door hasn't opened and their android appears to be refusing their orders to open the door, what else are they suppose to be asking at that point? "I am going to get you out of here" They're trying to open the door whilst trying to reassure their friend who is currently panicking and probably wondering why they haven't opened the door yet. "Run" the alien is getting too close and her friends more than likely realise that door isn't going to be opening in time. Where's the bad writing exactly, it all seems to fit with the characters current situation. If your issue is saying those lines one after the other, that's what you call escalation, if it's because it's happening too fast then then problem isn't the writing but rather the editing and even then, this is a TV spot, not the full scene.

@topknot01 It is also the acting of the Dora actress isn't very convincing. You can keep justifying by saying the lines are realistic. She sounds like a victim and very whiny, I would be angry and horrified and tell them to "Open the fucking door". It Is a combination of bad writing and acting which you don't understand
