Fun Facts: in Aliens lore the pulse rifles are especially made for zero gravity conditions because they use case less ammo & don't have to worry about hot brass floating around

Another amusing item is that because the prop is based off a Thompson machine gun you can see when Vasquez is in the tunnel the shell cases coming out of the hero prop (assume blanks of course)

It looks to be incredibly intense. From interviews I've seen - it will run the pace of Alien in the beginning of the movie and then the pace of Aliens in the second half of the film. Sounds like great momentum.

Good video james....fede uses excellent lighting and camera angles to capture moments in a way we haven't really seen too much before....perfect balance of nostalgic elements and new elements...the concept of zero g is a unique awesome concept that we don't see too much in any film... probably due to budgetary concerns .. that's adds a whole new and realistic way to show horror....crazy to have all these space horrors that don't utilize zero g...I really hope this trailer didn't give too much away....I think the teaser trailer was more effective... Kind of a less is more situation...don't really see the need for the full trailer although I get why they did it

Thank you so much for checking out this breakdown! I absolutely am digging how Fede uses camera movement in his scenes - really pulls the viewer through that fourth wall. I am with you in that the teaser was flawless. Perfect way to pull the audience in to create massive intrigue. I knew the full length trailer would have more of the narrative in the piece - but I am still left with SO MANY QUESTIONS as to what will be in this movie. I think that is a good place to be as a fan. Once again, means a lot that you checked out the video!

As a sidenote, I * think * I read somewhere that the blue light from the first movie's egg chamber was reused by Cameron as the scanner before the scavengers board Ripley's shuttle.

According to newly released rumours,the story starts with a spaceship discovering the remains of the first xenomorph from the alien movie.They bring it to the nearest spacestation and extract it for eggs which creates the facehuggers.Then the whole spacestation gets infected and all the humans dies,and leaves a big xenomorph hive behind. When contact is lost with the other spacestations.A spaceship is sendt to investigate. Then a battle breaks out,and only one off the investigators manage to escape. Or did she? In the end we see that she also is infected and she sets the escapepod to self construct,but before that happens,the escape pod lands on a unknown planet with small humanlike beings,but with blue skin. And that makes a cliffhanger for a follow-up movie ?

Storms were on LV426 in the first film, If anything it was less so in the second film as they didn't need space suits, But yeah terraforming. This trailer lacks and in fact ruins any anticipation, we see blood, facehuggers attacking people, full shots of the Xenomorphs, chest bursters, acid blood, and the many, many call backs to things we've already seen (at first it was homage about half way through it just started feeling like they didn't have any of their own ideas) what is left to watch in the film? Why they leave a planet and go to a space station and the worst London accent I've heard, exciting stuff lol.
@jpphotoaz4 ай бұрын
Appreciate the feedback. I am still excited for this one and hope it does not disappoint (like sadly so many have). I would note that all 3 male roles are played by British actors - so the accent is likely authentic. Thanks nonetheless for checking out the video!

From the creative perspective: the sets look cheap, I miss the cold-blue colour palette (which gives the Alien vibe, why do they use orange lightings?), the trailer has a straight-to-video feel, they didn't introduce new elements, Alvarez just echoes the previous entries, but the whole trailer does not look spectacular at all (just compare the 1986 Aliens trailer or newer sci-fis like Instellar (OK, it's 10 years old, but still looks fantastic), I really miss the Alien music themes (Goldsmith+Horner), so I'm really sceptical about this project.
@jpphotoaz6 ай бұрын
Believe me - all for skepticism. Personally was not a huge fan of his previous work, but for now I think this looks like a solid entry in a franchise which hasn’t had a worthy film since Alien 3 (which I enjoy the DC even though I have to ignore what they did to Hicks and Newt). Would have been great to see the WG script for Alien 3 or the Neil B take on Alien 5. Nonetheless, I’m optimistic on this entry - but we shall see! 😬😬😬
