You can understand EVERY WORD that she sings unlike the young punks that are receiving the limelight! The more I hear her and her backup the more I fall in love with them (especially Alison).

Thats because this gal has true class and talent. I had the pleasure to meet her this past Monday night 11/16/2015 in Nashville at a show that we had meet and greet at. The most sweet and down to earth person you would ever meet. Her inner beauty radiates as you stand beside her. She is doing what God has intended her to. A true National treasure

She played a benefit concert at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center last Nov in Nashville. Sometimes, they are rare but, she does offer M&G every once in a while . She is a very sweet and real person. No bs to her. Very humble person. Loves her fans.

Because Alison is so real and such a professional her music seem better than her studio music. She has magical Musical soul that makes her delivery of each song on of her playlist an individual masterpiece.Every time we get to see her in person we feel Blessed by her Talent.Alison is so good its bathtaking. We saw her at Kennedy Center Singing" Seven Spanish Angels "for Willie Nelsons induction to Hall of Fame. Alison and the Union Station Band is a true American Treasure. May God Bless them.

Thank you SO much for sharing this wonderful video! If ever I needed to be cheered up it was today with all the evil and violence surrounding me (and everyone)! I truly think Alison was put here to cheer us up at this time of need and she sure does it every time I hear and see her! I really enjoyed the songs they sung and want to hear more

Kolo Colovacio Many thanks for this priceless video; we get to see and hear the "early" Union Station, and Alison, which became the very popular multi-genre group of extremely talented musicians we know today (2017) as AKUS. Also, my intro to Shenandoah; two educations for the price of one. There's little doubt about Alison's long-time ability to harmonize.

Any idea what year this is (my guess is around 1994-'96). And, is that a very young Stuart Duncan on fiddle in the red shirt? Alison's favorite fiddle player.

Kolo Colovacio Would you please provide info on the date of this show?

Why no mention of Ricky Skaggs being in this, he is an awesome Mandolin player and singer too.

Is it just me, or does the "Early Alison Krauss" sound very much like Dolly Parton? Regardless, her voice is so distinctive, it's in a class all by itself.

You are soon right. Nowadays, she sounds even better, as unbelievable as it seems. If angels sang, they would be sounding like Alison. I love her!!

Her influences sound to me like Dolly, Loretta Lynn and June Carter-Cash although there are no doubt others but you're right, she takes it all and rolls it up into her own distinctive style....
