Woke up early for this! I appreciate learning the difference between the 500h and 350h. 500h interiors aren't my fave, but I like the exterior more (no chrome!). The red interior is very 'brothelesque'..just add the red ambient lighting! Prefer the interior color choices better on the 350h. Looking for a vehicle with luxury features and reliability. Clearly the 350h is for me with the Luxury package🤩. About 3-months ago Lexus teased us with a preview of the RX. A month or so ago they allowed you to see them but embargoed your 'impressions'. NOW, they don't know the price? Not worried about it..just amused by the way Lexus is doing things.🤦♀ Thank you for all the great work you do! Appreciate you.

I like how Lexus has evolved their design. It clearly looks like a Lexus RX. I think the RX’s price will be very reasonable, for a luxury non-hybrid SUV. However, I believe that these Lexus RX ‘Hybrid’ models will probably somewhat overpriced when compared against the upcoming (and current) competition. But if I … HAD to trust and believe in ANY hybrid system… it had better say Toyota or Lexus on it. Thanks for the video.

Third row seating? I am not a fan of 3rd row seating and would sooner have more cargo area (especially in/under floor at back and the spare). If I really needed a 3rd row, I’d look elsewhere (Pacifica, Expedition, Highlander, etc).

Great review. But the price is outrageous. Fully loaded RX 350h is $119,000 when financed through Toyota/Lexus over 7 years with nothing down. That is over $25000 in interest and over 8%. I guess Toyota is now a bank too?

Thanks for the quick review. Personally I'm not a fan of the upper part of the front grill, but hopefully it looks better in person or on darker colors. My prediction on pricing: - RX 350 ($59'000 CAN or $52'000 US) - RX 350h ($62'000 CAN or $54'000 US) - RX 500h ($74'000 CAN or $65'000 US) - RX 450h+ ($70'000 CAN or $62'000 US) I'm glad that they are not bringing the L version as that was mostly a joke with the amount of space in the 3rd row. If they do bring a larger model, hopefully the 3rd row will have a better solution then the 2023 Sequoia (body on frame, so I guess they didn't have a way to make the 3rd row be flat in the cargo area). We have a 2011 RX350 and although it is not a driver's SUV, it has been really good to us as far as long term reliability.

Wow! I have been waiting for this video for a long time! Thanks a ton. I like this car a lot, I am already on the waitlist for a 2023 Lexus RX 350h, luxury trim (base +1). I have three questions: Toyota cars are known to be quite easy to steal by car thieves. Something about their electronic keys, I am being told. Do you know if they have done something about it? In your video about the gas 2023 RX, you mention that premium gas is recommended. I guess it is something about the turbo? What about the hybrid models? Is regular gas fine? I « ordered » a black car with the palomino interior (caramel and black). Did you see this interior color on any RX in demo? How was it? I took from granted that it would be similar to the NX, but I am not sure. Is this mix of black outside and palomino inside sounds good? Thanks from Montreal! Ben

It's impressive that Lexus has got 350+ hp and over 25mpg combined. Knowing how Toyota rates hybrid mpgs, alot of people are probably going to get 30mpg or even more. I'd go for the 350h if I had that money. I've gotten used to the oddities of the Rav4 hybrid system and it has grown on me. I don't miss gear shifts. Speaking of which, if the new offroad trim of the Rav 4 hybrid doesn't have a bit more power(especially in the rear end), it'll be sad. The Hyundai Hybrids also use 6 speeds, so it might be the most practical configuration for that type of hybrid. It is interesting to note that the 8 speed Aisen automatic is very similar to the 6 speed Aisen(if not identical). So in this case the 8 speed would likely physically fit the vehicle. Does the 500h feel like a normal 6 spd automatic when accellerating and braking?

The RX is really large, not for everyone. The new look is an improvement. There's always the more sensible Toyota vehicles. I wonder if any of these will qualify for a US tax rebate? The price might be too much, and they must be assembled in North America. The buyers themselves might also not qualify. Since the RAV4 Prime was barely available for purchase, I wonder if any of these will actually be.

You indicated how Toyota/Lexus has cornered the market with their Hybrid fuel saving vehicles in a time with very high gas prices. Does the new 2023 RX 350H require premium gas or can it take regular ? If it requires premium gas it sort of takes away the fuel saving cost if you have to fill up with premium here in Canada with the huge price difference between the two.

I'm guessing that with the toys and F-Sport goodies added to this vehicle, and taxes, you're looking at north of $90,000 CDN for this, likely. I don't get Lexus though. Why not publish prices when it's likely that it will take a long time (year to year and a half) to get one of these anyway? There's no way I would order anything that I can't test-drive and that I have to guess on the price! I've had a 2013 Lexus GS350 F-Sport for almost ten years now and it's true when they say that Lexus's are bulletproof, since I've really only had to pay for tires and brakes over those years, but I still wouldn't invest in another one if they're going to hold out on the price. A fully loaded Santa Fe PHEV is less than $60 grand and it has more standard stuff on it. It's hard to justify an extra $30 grand for a Lexus these days.

Might as well spend a couple grand more for a bigger suv, such as a Audi Q7 AWD. I am also not a fan of the RX new interior. Why did they design the center air vent at the bottom and not symmetric with the side vents, not sure how that will cool me off in 100 degree temps. Front grill is nice but the blended grill to the top of the hood looks like a lego piece. Wheel base makes the RX look “cut off” at certain angles. ugh tough decision but have my money on the Audi Q7 right now.
