People can see what they want but I made the switch to rigid about 2 years ago and I've never been happier before that I was always using the DeWalt and Milwaukee and my tools work half the time tore up or need replaced I've worked over two years with rigid everything and I've yet to have a tool fail me and yes imma contractor

Gosh I got one of these about 2 months ago. I use Ridgid tools and it’s handy to have a small light little vacuum around. It’s so weak though, I use it constantly though and makes my life a lot easier.

0:32 OMG….The DUSTBUSTERs are back in action. I remember 5hose growing up & how it would hold like a ½ cup of “stuff” & the suction really Really REALLY SUCK. Then we can’t forget them batteries, which if lucky lasted you 10 mins, maybe maybe 15 mins but was more like 7 mins😂 Was cool that came w/ wall attachment to hang Dustbuster on wall right by your Walk plug-in Flashlight that would be charging them AA rechargeable batteries in the flashlight 🤣🤣 Oh the good days of what were we thinking “tech & appliances”. This looks like the new ryobi PCL705. The only complaint with the ryobi is the pleated fine filter gets clogged easily with fine dust. I ended up removing it and wrapping the pre-mesh filter with a coffee filter and its works 10 times better. Just a tip if you run into the problem with the ridgid.

I have the Gen5x. I love use it all the time. Not only does it cleanup my worksite but also the cars. I found that all of the attachments from an old house vacuum fit my Gen5x. Now I have about 7 attachments for my vacuum. Love these things. I'll have to check it out when hits my home Depot. Thanks for the review. PS. If I had a grammy award I'd give you one. Nice job 👍

I'm very hesitant on buying it because the last Ridgid hand vacuum I bought, the Gen5X model you can't get filters anymore for it. I've looked everywhere and Ridgid won't reply back. I'm considering the Ryobi hand vacuum but need more research on it's power versus this Ridgid model. Great vid man!

I just rigged up a ridgid/AEG adapter to a Dyson v8 cordless 😅 best vacuum on the market. Bought a 2nd vacuum with a Dyson dead battery, so vac was cheap.

I know you sold a lot of Ridges (not that they need help, it's Ridged as opposed to Dewalt IMO). If I need something sold, expect my invitation. Oh yeah, I did learn something from you. When the guy at HD sold me this model.... I explained to him, I had a a 18V HYPER LITHIUM Ion LITHIUM. You know the battery made in 2014 I think. Works amazing with what I need them for and I have 14 battery tools and love them. Guy from HD got me cause I thought this vac sucked. 1st tool I considered returning. Now I see you should use 4.0 AH MAX. Before I order these, do you know if the 6.0 AH battery will work? Thanks for your time sir!

I have the Ryobi version, plus two older Ryobis but this is the first one I actually use because it will accept standard 1-1/4" attachments. It's a real battery hog though.

We have two of the older model hand vacs (it is not all that old) and we use them every day. No complaints on the vacuums. But why doesn't Ridgid upgrade some of older flawed tools? Their led panel light has no handle. The panel light sucks more than this vacuum!

That seems to be the design many many companies have landed on with a hand held vac. I bought a brand that is very very similar and it's darn good. I like it better in the regard that It doesn't have a battery to attach. It just plugs into a charger and an hour later I'm good to go. It's a good one. Video is annoying.
