It follows the hierarchy of a world where raw power means everything. Theatre kid and costume designer here. Long story short, you have to be really bloody protective of your fabric scissors because they are expensive but also you really can’t use them for anything else. Being able to make clean, straight cuts on your fabric is really important and if you use your scissors on other things the blades will dull significantly faster and can ruin your scissors very quickly. Think of fabric scissors as a very specialized tool and personally I don’t even cut threads with my pair. The problem is that everyone who doesn’t sew won’t understand that and often tools will be borrowed and then returned when things get hectic. Thus it is sometimes necessary to both label your fabric scissors and instill the fear of god into the other techies of what you will do if they DARE touch your scissors without permission!

20:48 hii, finnish person here, gotta say, very accurate. we spell everything the same way we pronounce it. every finnish person also has the power to start speaking like the opposite of this, by pronouncing english words exactly the way you spell them. for us it's called "ralli englanti" ("rally english"), we just do it by pronouncing everything exactly the way it's written. it's actually how most finnish kids usually start out when speaking english, because as mentioned, finnish is a language where you pronounce and spell everything the same, so most finnish kids tend to think other languages are the same, which is why a finnish kid might pronounce "car" as "kar" (missing the natural english "h" sound that goes between the c and a, not elongating the a at all, and emphazising the r) so really, a finnish kid who's completely new to the english language would probably spell "car" as "khaar" based purely on how it sounds to our ears. this was very long and probably confusing, but i hope someone learned something new, lol-

This video tripped me up real good :'D Started playing it without checking the length, watched it while playing a game, first had to check the date of the post after hearing Damien's voice and was like "what, Damien's back? Neat!"
