@@JAnx01 A few off the top of my head (as of the time I'm making this comment anyway, in early 2023): -MySpace as the main social network of the time. Today, MySpace has far fewer users. Facebook existed back then, but now much more popular, and TikTok didn't even exist in 2007. -The 4:3 CRT monitor of the guy who crashed the internet. 16:9 LCD/LED flat monitors are much more common. (Laptops and smartphones are also much more common than desktops today.) -Tony Snow as press secretary. -The handouts replacing emails on the street being email forwards with diet tips and "pass this on to X people, and don't forget the person who sent it to you!" Social networks took over this aspect of "email forwards". -America's Funniest Home Videos (AFV) to make up for KZbin KZbin was not as monetized and content-rich as it is now, so the content included a lot of things you might find on AFV instead. -Steve Jobs still alive to meet with other "Internet power players". actually, no. In South Park, no data was really lost. Only the main internet router was crashed and needed a reboot, which was eventually done.

I once had around 59 pages open on a Pokemon site, on a Windows XP home computer. ...I had to log off after each of those 59 interactions. But in other news....a 24 hour channel of AFV would be amazing!!! :O

@@lisathaxton1634 ray of sunshine, aren't ya. Yes we will, no catastrophic events, rather they be cosmic or even man-caused are even reasonably predicted to have happened by then.
