I've noticed that the max redline of the GT86 is generally stated as being 7500 (stock) and the fuel cut Rev Limit is even set at 7500 by default, however in the properties of Launch Control RPM Delta, the description states: "redline (7600) - delta = launch control activated RPM". So it appears that if you want to have a totally accurate launch limit, you will have to subtract from 7600 instead of 7500.

Exactly what i did. I set mine at 4200 and it holds my revs at 4500. Seems to work best for my current tires. (225/45/17x7.5 continental extreme contact dw front and rear)

I'm trying to find a real step by step out there so I dont screw this up, but cant find one that shows everything step by step. Do you know where I can find it? Sorry for all the questions. You would locate what Definition/bin file by searching for your calibration ID on open flash performance's website. support.openflashtablet.com/support/solutions/42000005938 I have another video that goes more into detail called "Everything you need to know about ROMRaider/OpenFlash Tablet" that might help clear things up.

Thanks for these videos. Takes the mystery and guess work out of rom raider. Changed my LC value and followed your pops and crackles values too. One last question. Do you know where the AIM value is located at? I’d like to move it from default of .7 up to .9. Always running 93 octane. I’d like it to start higher.

When you first flashed yours did you almost stall at all? My throttle response was aweful at first but got better after like 3 minutes.

It's fairly common with the OFT (and other tuning platforms) after flashing. It's the ECU learning new min and max throttle voltages. It'll happen if you disconnect the battery or flash it again. I've seen some have it last much longer than 3 min. I've flashed it multiple times over time and i've had it work perfect right out of the gate but i've also had it take 10 or so min but never any longer than that thankfully. Thanks for watching!

This vid easily answered my question. I just have a 93 octane tune, and never realized that it only revved up to 5500 rpm when at a stand still. And today I was showing off at work and it only revved to 5500 rpm and I was totally lost. So by default it’s just set up that way to 5500rpm?

Yes. Currently there are no one the fly adjustments for launch control settings.

No, you have to update the file using openflash manager/ROMraider and reflash the car. You want to set the disable speed to 0.

Hey Kevin, Sorry for the late reply, I typically keep my Launch Control around 4500rpm. On stock tires, I don't see any reason 4000rpm would be an issue. If you have some meaty grippy tires, you might want to bump it up to 4500-5000rpm if you notice bogging when launching. Please let me know if you have any other questions and Thanks for watching!

The best launch I have found on the stock tiers is 4600 rpm. At 4000 rpm the car bogs just a little. At 4600 rpm you just ride the wheel spin till the 1-2 upshift. That gives me the best acceleration. I like the stock OFT setting of 5500 rpm.

Can you elaborate. You say 4600 gives you best accel. But you like the stock 5800. I'm curious because I run 255 hankook Ventus V12 so I'm wondering if I should leave it at stock. 5800 just seems so high.

Ok so update. I got the newer open flash tablet v2. I plug it to my frs. Won't let me READ or WRITE once I click on TUNE. I replug 3 times and same thing no reads. Trying to tune my tomei uel. What am I doing wrong
