This is pretty neat that you'd upload this after I was recently told by my spouse that I always expect the worst (which I can't say I disagree). I find myself exploring more and more of your content, and it does help me in my day-to-day. Thank you for providing your videos to the world.

I just woke up from a horrific ptsd nightmare involving sleep paralysis. It was by far the worst nightmare I've ever had, and still has me crying about it. It's 2:33am and I'm too terrified to even try going back to sleep. I don't ever want to see what I saw or even think about its imagery. In the real world, things got much worse between my wife and I, and I've been under the impression for the last day that we are divorcing after 13 years together. To be brief, we had an argument over our children; her "sleep walking" which always (that's not all or nothing thinking either, it really is 100% of the time) involves her hitting me while I'm asleep; and things that have generally been simmering into resentment. I didn't think it would be anything we couldn't handle, until she continued to say she didn't believe anything I was telling her; that she was incredibly insulted that I'd ever think she'd intentionally hit me while I slept; and that she didn't know what could be done to salvage us. After hearing that, I bawled more than I ever have in my life- I felt/feel like there is nothing I can do, even though I'm willing to do/try anything to fix this. I know I'm not perfect, and even far from it, but I love her so much and have tried to be as perfect as possible in the realm of honesty- even telling her my every secret and vulnerable moment [something no one else has been given from me]. I'm trying to just be the best person I can be, whether she and I stay together or not- as I understand that is really the only thing I control in this world. That nightmare hurts so bad though- I did things in it I never thought I'd do, and saw her in ways I never wanted to see. I know it was just a nightmare but it is just devastating me. I think it might be time to go and seek therapy, medication, or some sort of professional help. If anyone has read this, thank you for listening to my grief. And to Doc Snipes, thank you sincerely. I don't know that I'd even consider therapy or help had I not been watching your videos as of late. Perhaps soon I can post an update of a successful resolution, whatever that looks like. God willing. God bless.

@@SonOfNone use some logic, tell your wife that you will put cameras on when you are both sleeping and show her, with the video, what she does. There's medication that can help for sleepwalking also. Once you prove it to her, have her see her doctor. If she's faking might make her stop knowing she's being filmed.

it takes practice to get it right. if I gave you a 150Lb bag of beans you wouldn't be able to carry it, but with some training and practice you'll carey it with ease someday. Patience is important to remember.

Thank you! I remember getting my tonsils out at around the same age. I remember being terrified, and then I woke up to someone giving me that delicious ice cream in the small tub with the cardboard spoon 😂 I still love that ice cream to this day lol (when I find it-I get it!!!)

I remember getting my tonsils out at five, it's left me with a lifelong fear of doctors and hospitals. Parents couldn't stay back then, not a children's hospital, four people holding me down, I thought he was going to cut my arm off, looked like my father's tin cutting shears. The elevator I couldn't get out of. Waking up alone, so many things. All their faces hidden. The second time I was in a hospital was when I had my son, during a massive heatwave and a major nurses strike, not a wonderful experience either, stayed one day. When I called at nine thirty nurse told me to only come in the next day, left right away got there at ten, 10:32 my son was born. I was half on the table no epidural, if I had listened I would have had him at home. This was my first baby. I just got out of a week at a hospital, incredibly short staffed because of COVID, my hospital was closed to ambulances. So Three times in my life, Three bad experiences, through no fault of my own. Hahahaha so yes, they make me anxious and I have tried to avoid them like the plague all my life.

Speaking of needles I just saw this dr invented device for when you get a shot it's a little piece of plastic with sharp spikes and they push it against the skin and it distracts from the needle lol. It's called a shot blocked. I deff have the tornado fear being from ca, we moved to Murray ky for 2 yrs and I couldn't handle it the fear was to much, and literally a few months after we moved was the mayfield tornado it was 30 miles from our home and my husband worked in mayfield daily. Expecting the worse worked for me that time

@@DocSnipes the way you use your own experiences , the examples , comparisons, Different types of fear , To be honest after watching few of your videos, I can’t pinpoint one most useful , rather a lovely feeling of being understood, less worried Not afraid of waking up ( nighttime here in Australia ) during the night by these ruminating thoughts, and bad memories If I only had found you earlier.. Heaps of thank you
