Homelanders super senses aren’t as super as I thought as when he tried to off hughie in the vought arena the loud music stifled his hearing and presumably zinc coating of the vents stopped his x-ray vision as zinc is often added in or coated to steel as it prevents rust and corrosion. Most places use zinc plated galvanized steel which would nullify the x-ray vision. Plus with witnesses he couldn’t just level the building

If homelander would decide to train seriously to amplify his powers he would be unstoppable in his verse, he could literally one punch anyone in his world.
@kingol4801
@kingol4801 7 ай бұрын
Training does not make much of a difference when superpowers are in play. That is just human-centric vision of pseudo-physics. The only thing that matter is the force behind the punch and its application. Training allows one to close a small gap in strength between two even opponents. But if you take world greatest boxer and throw him to fight a silverback gorilla…. He will LOSE. Homelander is already optimized at what he does. He received realistic kind of martial art training from Vought agents (same kind of ex-military or black ops units) and adult supes. He will never be Jacky Chan with mystical martial arts mumbo jumbo. In real life, martial arts won’t save you from a knife. That is just coping and idolizing the extent of an impact of dedication and human will. Likewise, Homelander will not grow in power from lifting or some other nonsense like that. He is built the way he is, optimal at using his finite strength and has adequate militaristic martial art training. That is it.

I have to wonder who the mother is, maybe it was an egg of crimson countess or maybe stormfront. Someone had the theory that he banged his own mom in S2, S3 SB says she was a real 'firecracker' who founded herogasm with. Because to me him just being directly from the sperm of SB and nothing else makes no sense, he's a human just super enhanced. Like he has the exact same parts as a normal human so he would have had to been born from some female donor as well. *SPOILERS* my personal theory is that stormfront was the woman who carried homelander. in the comics, stormfront is homelanders father, so i imagine that they can relate to that in a way by making her his mother. which makes for a really fucked up relationship, that the boys likes to do.

S4E4 confirms a human carried John to term before he burst forth from her killing her and several of the nursing staff. Stormfront can still be his genetic Mother tho, and likely is, if its not confirmed somewhere and I just dont recall.

Sup's can't have sup babies, we know this because Ryan is the first one even though other sups like translucent have children too. Vought would have deliberately made it this way so they don't have unregistered sups out there and so they can be the one's in control of them. This is what the show implies from what we have seen so far.

just a tip. if you want more audience retention. you first 30 seconds should be hinting at what the rest of the video is about. then explain who homelander is and backstory. it will hook more viewers and especially ones who watch the show as they already know about his backstory so will most likely be bored by the current intro. not trying to critise you, i just want you to be successful. have a great day! ❤

This sends a message that if humanity and science try to play god, the god they create can turn on humantity and look down upon those who created him. After seeing episode 4 of season 4 it’s clear that his sadistic nature and hatred stems from just about everything he was put through and it makes me want to see a spin off series of homelanders younger years. He’s an incredibly interesting yet frightening character.

It's strange, because as repugnant as Homelander is, you can't help but empathise with Homelander at times in the comic and show when you consider the environment in which he was raised. It's also usually the moments where Homelander is most vulnerable and his invincible fascade is lowered that you see the most humanity in Homelander, such as his need to be loved and fear of being abandoned! He really is just a troubled insecure boy in the body of the most powerful man at the end of the day! But due to his narcissism and borderline personality he commits heinous antisocial acts so he does not have to confront his weaknesses!

? If you are not, then you lost the whole point of the show and devolved into monkey. Homelander is a “bad victim” trope. Similar to Sadako from the Ring. A tortured entity victimized and turned evil. The whole point of the show is that victims should not be stepped over. But yes, it is easy to blame them for being evil, even though it was not even their fault.
