I love Sean McDowell! I am a Ukrainian immigrant to America (I used to evangelize in East Ukraine warzone) and a campus missionary at University of Arizona and I evangelize to THOUSANDS of Gen Z students on campus. I do open air preaching and hand out thousands of million dollar bill gospel tracts! It's amazing how most never read the Bible or even heard of the basic concepts of the Bible. This generation is truly lost! But I do see God move on campus because students are searching and when we explain to them the gospel, some really give their lives to Christ and their lives get transformed forever!

This is so true...about going by how we feel in a moment. I dislike the current attitude of do what you want/what makes you happy. Its very selfish and can lead to actions that are very damaging and hurtful to thr people you love.

What I hear is that he's having a conversation with someone not controlling them. This is very helpful when teaching the truth to young people.

I absolutely love Sean - I watch his channel all the time. This was a great conversation and I'm happy to have heard it. I have a 5 year old daughter and I know the day is coming when I am going to have to address these issues with her. I just pray that God gives me the right words and shows me the right way to be when that time comes, so that she can understand and not be misguided by this generations. Tough times ahead for sure. Also, Allie Beth, you have amazing hair!!

One of your best shows. I also default to the "every manufactured device has a user's manual written by the designing engineers" argument. Then I quote statistics proving God's will works long term while defying it doesn't. Also, it's good to explain that feelings only serve two purposes: appreciation and motivation. They are not the arbiters of truth. They are internal and end with you. That's why "the heart is deceptive above all things."

And now with GB (Blenn Beck) having The Blaze bringing in some Art production and Investigative News to the milieu! The best of times and the ... Something else of times. (Listening to McDowell, should I speed him up or SLOW him down? I wonder. Ever since our gracious host recommended speed-listening - I been trying all sorts of video speeds on everything to see the effect... Hamster McDowell?)

Ok, hearing McDowell talk about freedom: I should be more careful with my words (and probably succinct, but that's a given). When I first began making comments on Fb 3 years ago, I didn't know if anyone read them anywhere. Uh. Now? I think most of them were read... Ooooops! (It's all in learning to read a room & becoming articulate --- with the love of Jesus as a priority. In fact, that has been my hope & aim even in prayer. And why I watch online videos...to learn a bit while having fun.) (My 2nd semi-long comment, I've already screwed up.) Anyway, G'day to any out there living their lives!

It was actually mush more of a blessing to be more bound to the community you grew up in. Now that doesn’t matter at all because kids have access to the internet so they don’t get influenced nearly at all by their community. They mostly just kill all American town culture.
