I allow my neighbours to use my spare land. I don't charge anything, it is just nice to see people growing their own food. Much nicer if self growing ✨️

Emma, I have been working a "starter plot" my allotment group put new people on those to see whether they find if they want it. I have had mine for 2 years, just been offered a "proper" plot. I will be shown it on the 4th October. It's really quite exciting.

Trees can also be good as a great source of leaves either to add to compost or make leaf mold. Some things bolt if they get too much direct sun, not that this was a problem this year, so I plant them under my tree x

Are you going to put in a worm farm and/or a beehive ? I notice that you seldom use manure and rarely "hill " your pumpkins. The best gardening U Tuber's I have found are TERRACE GARDENING by a Chinese man and SELF SUFFICIENT ME by Mark Valencia
