I just love sizzlers and especially when it’s winters, that hot smoky sizzler is something you will enjoy the most. I have had many variations but this idea suddenly struck me and I had to give it a try. The aloo tikki and makhani come really well together. You can also replace it with paneer or chicken to make a butter chicken version! Do try this unique recipe idea and let me know how you guys liked it! Cheers!

What a dish! I made this over the weekend and it was incredibly good! It was a instant hit with my "almost-american-but-love-indian-food" kids. They love indian food, but cringe when they see anything "indian-fusion" non traditional dish, "Just keep it purely desi mom", is what they will say. But oh my God they loved this dish. From the name of the dish to its presentation and its flavors! Child 1 (23 years old-not-a-child-anymore) is an ardent gym goer, declared that it is his "cheat" day, after having a few bites! He took another helping of the dish with "a lot of extra makhani sauce" Child 2 (16 year old-almost-not-a child), who still has problems with her "greens" was hogging the beans! Each and every element of it was just extraordinary. Thank you so much for innovating this wonderful dish! I will be digging through your other recipes now :) Much thanks and love to you!

I love the way he identifies which things might be missing in a common household (e.g. the sizzler plate) and provides with alternatives... which just motivates you even more to try this out. I think apart from being a talented chef and having an amazing team, being a simple down to earth Mumbaikar is what gives Sanjyot an edge over some of the other chefs out there.
