I think Scott did a great job. He explained everything fairly clearly without taking too long to explain each part of the process. I also appreciate the fact that he was still able to explain the exact things to do for those using Final Cut, but also prefacing that the techniques used will work regardless of the program you use.

9:36 “If you’re a content creator, practice making well rounded content.” Personally that piece of advice is golden. I am afraid of being mediocre due to not having guidance or a direction that felt proper to my content, for some reason those words resonated with me. I stopped streaming / creating because I have been looking for this truth, well rounded content to me means trimming the edges that are unnecessarily long, like tangent topics. I gotta keep the meaty part of the conversation without worrying about cutting what’s irrelevant. Thank you, I feel confident moving forward through the natural mediocrity that comes with being a new content creator who believes in his work.

Very solid edits and I even learned a different way to edit my text after editing for years. The only thing that I feel like would be a bummer to newer people to editing and that will be a stumble is that it was meant to be an edit for shorts, tiktoks, and reels. That is all portrait based content. Also, it didn't show adding in the full quality camera and creating compound clips for the super necessary zoom. That was a tip so I feel like that should have been there. Scott's speaking to camera was super solid and came across very knowledgeable so very good in that aspect. Hope this feedback helps Scott out.

Always a pleasure watching your vids. The hardest part of creating content for KZbin, for me anyways, is taking additional time away from my wife and kids. I do my streams late, so that helps, but it takes alot more time to record and edit videos, along with learning editing tricks and such, than it does to stream for an hour or so twice a week.
