It's ironically paced MUCH better than KingOhger's pilot episode. And that's not even Kingohger's fault, really. Kingohger needed to worry about preliminary world building and the internal politics of the Five Kingdoms, while also setting up Gira as a protagonist, alongside of the usual Sentai 1st ep affairs. It's REALLY dense as a result. BoonBoomger's first episode doesn't need to worry about world building, it's set in a facsimile of our world. It's also really only concerned with establishing Mira as a character. Taiya and Ishiro are doin' their own thing, their going's on isn't really the focus. Any questions that might arise are set aside for later. The other two have barely more than cameos. As a result, in spite of being a first episode, it's paced much closer to a character-focus-episode you'd see later down the line. This writing trend of slowly incorporating members into the team is doing wonders for Sentai's pacing.

The way I see it, seeing the suits in action in the show doesn’t make them look any less weird, it just shows you how cool they are while still being weird. I could really do without the molded lips on the Boonboomger helmets though. It kinda worked in the earlier _Sentai_ suits, but just doesn’t fit with the Boonboomgers.

13:25 for me Mario-kart style race sequence is best addition. Matches perfectly with series main thema of "cars" they should ditch robot fights and focus on it

Yeah I also really liked this episode! The characters aren't so much _characters_ as they are bare personalities so far, but there's so much style and refreshing use of tropes we haven't seen in a long time that I'm willing to wait for them to get filled in. It was just a _fun time_ as is however. The suits and henshins are great. I will _never_ like the wheel/hubcap helmet tho. I'll learn to tolerate it throughout the show but I do feel like that's the one real miss so far, and I went to bat for Fourze's rocket head _I'm not hard to please._ But the style of the other 99% of this show is legit just chef's kiss. This is the first time I've really looked at a morpher and said "I need to buy this NOW" in a long time. It IS the Accelular and I am _here for it_ And yeah, seconded that they need to come up with new car chases every time the monster grows big. Honestly, Sentai has just been on a renaissance these last few years and I'm loving it. Guess it's time for me to go binge KingOhger now.

to be more specific, this sentai series costume is based on the kamen rider drive. The tires, the sword mode is like Handle-Ken, the blaster is portable like in Faiz/ Decade and easy to transform, even got an axe form which sentai black whose form sorta look like kamen rider drive: Type WILD
