Angela, your mini albums/altered books are my favourite! This is stunning, so well made- I LOVE the way you did the peacock on the spine and the papers are just beautiful. Those photos deserved a book like this! Clever lady! TFS

Thanks so much for showing your altered book with actual pictures in it. So often I see these beautiful creations but I can't imagine pictures in them. This was very helpful and I enjoyed all the beautiful colors. I have a bunch of K & Co. laying around somewhere, I think I need to pull it out and put it to work. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much! It was a wonderful tutorial full of inspiration and information. I really enjoyed being able to see the book with the pictures in it. That really helped me understand how it worked. I'm also really glad you used the beautiful papers and ephemera that you did! I love seeing color and interest and it emboldens me to do the same because, of course, I really want to create my own album now! I see so many beige and light pink examples of journals that it causes me to worry that my pictures will be overwhelmed if I use the beautiful and interesting papers I love. But not anymore! I do think that having that one manufacturer, K & C, gave a good cohesion, balance, and continuity to your album.so I'll try to keep something like that in mind. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, beautiful book!

You have totally inspired me to use my old K&C papers and embellishments. Agree, I still love the look of the paper, but I find that I do not use it like I once did. What a beautiful book and I love all of the color with the black and white photos.

It is such an inspiration to see a "fully loaded" book. It's beautiful. I'm fixing to make my first altered book. Last night I went into my craft room and actually pulled out the same K&Co. papers. Today I'm taking your advise to hunt down all the matching embellishments.

I loved seeing all the vintage photo’s in your gorgeous altered book. The front cover is stunning. Does it still smell musty? I don’t like that old smell. I have so many products from K & Company. I loved their stuff.

Very very nice...did you sew the signatures in the book? Did you sew them on a strip pf paper then glue in on the spine? We didn't get to see that part in the video.
@Molczan3526 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I sewed the signatures to the spine which I usually beef up because it is so old. I showed the complete process in this video if you're interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5XLoGewnLZmfMU Thanks for watching! :-)

wow. even though it was water damaged ,I cant imagine you taking all that out ?? that is usually the look we all go for ,I think you did a great job in the end ,but for me I would have left all that goodness in there ,unless it had a bad water damage smell to it. ??!!!
