Hi Danielle, I just found your channel and there was a video on CRPS. Yes, very interesting, I want you to know first off that I really enjoy your style and your sensibilities. I would love that you said, you like to get to know your viewers. And I think that is awesome. Because most creators are not that way. Anyways, I have ME/CFS I also am now dealing with a lot of painful Polly neuropathy. I got oral neuropathy, which was absolute Hell. I had to have a massive operation Cause it went all the way into my jawbone, so every tooth and root had to be pulled out. Now I am toothless, great. And it just seems that also I have complex PTSD. And what I believe about that is that it definitely has played a part on not being well since I have been a child. I was raised with so much trauma and so much abuse, That now at 65 years old I'm having meltdowns. I get so overwhelmed and can't emotionally regulate. I am basically bed-bound and use a mobility scooter. There have been many times That I simply have wished I was the kind of person that could just kill myself. I really don't know what to do. Because doctors basically are stupid, they don't listen. They're so arrogant, and it's just such a waste of time. Anyways. That's my little story. There's a lot more to it. I have a service dog. To help me mostly actually with the meltdowns and the huge sense of overwhelm doing the simplest thing. So I'm very eager to watch you and to find out More of what You think things are about. I feel blessed to have found your channel. Thank you so much.

If you ever want to email me directly please do so at danielle@lucid-med.com. I'm always open to support you in any way I can. A few questions, what have you tried (if anything) so far for the CRPS/neuropathy? OH, and the service dog? Wonderful...we need pets in our lives. My CoCo is kind of like my emotional support animal...she just senses when I've had enough and need love. I'll be going live tonight at 8PM EST and I'd love to see you in the chat if you're able. Hopefully we can connect that way. Danielle

Enjoy your personality and presentation! I've never done any psychedelics and I tried weed 3 times with zero effect. Am I lucky or unlucky, I don't know. Only addiction I've had was sugar. Probably pre-diabetes cause I'm starting to have some heel pain and hands feet easily fall asleep. I have been for a few years dirty keto, then clean keto and am now more ketovore. By trial and error I'm working on cleaning that up. Think I need to up my B vits.

Hi Kelle! Thanks for commenting! And thank you for your positive feedback. In a sea of interactions hearing the things you like about how I present warms my heart. Psychedelics and THC affects people differently. Keto is fantastic for neuropathy...in fact many report it makes a world of difference! D

I just did ketamine treatment for the second time. It gave me bad headaches that would last for 24+ hours after treatment. Hoping to try psilocybin next.

I have a question.... What if you are allergic to molds... Fungi and molds are kind of in the same family. My girlfriend, Since micro doesn't is actually getting more depression and more pain. She noticed that after she redid her house and got all the mold from the house. Remove her headaches and pain went away. But then she started microdosing and doing them recreational more often. Could there be exceptions to this type of therapy? Because I do know, that even with pharmaceuticals that you can have bad reactions. Could that be a side effect. She's OK while she is microdosing. But as soon as it wears off she gets very very depressed. And her pain comes back so I told her that maybe she has an allergy.. Not the type of allergy that makes you swell or go anaphylactic. Thank you very much for putting out these videos and the information. I do believe that you have saved my life some days!!!!

Hey again :) OK so the simplest way to start to answer your question is to 1st explain that mold is absolutely a type of fungus and they belong to the same general kingdom. However, being allergic to molds doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have an allergic reaction to psychedelic mushrooms or other types of edible mushrooms. Allergies are specific immune responses to proteins, and the proteins that trigger mold allergies can wildly differ from those in mushrooms. The active compounds responsible for the psychedelic effects in magic mushrooms, such as psilocybin and psilocin, are different from the proteins that typically cause allergic reactions. Can she eat mushrooms in general without experiencing adverse/allergic type effects? Even if she can, it still wouldn't satisfy my inclination towards the possibility you're correct. Mushrooms and mold have an insane amount of variations...so many different families and compounds it would be virtually impossible to determine a true relationship between the 2 (her symptoms and the mushrooms she's microdosing) without RAST testing. Black mold (to take it a step further) is a specific type of mold known as Stachybotrys chartarum and is primarily associated with the production of mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are toxic compounds produced by certain molds under very specific conditions (water damaged old buildings etc). So the presence of Stachybotrys chartarum does not guarantee the production of mycotoxins, and not all strains of this mold are toxic. The effects of psilocybin can very greatly from person to person and several factors can play a role (current medications, underlying conditions, stress, dosage). Taking them recreationally most likely lends itself to varying dosage and concentration. It's hard to say, however I'd suggest at the very least to keep a journal of what she takes and when/if she experiences changes in her side effects. Or seek guidance from a practitioner who can regulate dosing and monitor the effects while titrating her carefully. There are several clinical trials occurring as I mentioned in the video...maybe she's a candidate for a few of them. It's always a crap shoot when using substances (regardless of their "organic" source) but given that they're being studied for their effects on depression and serotonin alteration capabilities- it's logical to consider it may be causing this. Let me know how it's going and I'm so happy you're finding benefit in the channel! Thank you for letting me know. ❤❤ Danielle

I'm on my third out of six microdoses cause of my depression, trauma, O.C.D and addiction to alcohol. But I've never had a closed eye hallucination, which is because my guide gives me the best doses for me and the best shrooms I'm taking one microdose every 5 days and I'm already noticing an improvement. Not to promote anyone’s business but I I recommend you reach out to someone very reputable

Ms.Danielle, very informative. Does psilocybin have any benifits over LSD? Most research seems to focus on psilocybin, ketamine and mmda, and im interested in whether one compond is more benificial than the others?

Hi Mike! Thanks for your question and feedback. Psilocybin has been around longer but LSD tends to elicit a more potent psychedelic experience. Both have shown benefit as far as psychiatric use (depression, PTSD etc) and both act on the same 5-HT2A receptors. That said-each also comes with their own set of potential side effects: Psilocybin tends to increase BP, LSD increases heart rate and both share the risk of serotonin syndrome. I believe there's only 1 study that directly compares the 2. I may be wrong but as far as I see that's the case. There's renewed interest in both which is awesome however it's still early and difficult to say (especially with my limited experience) whether one has the edge on the other. Psilocybin is the most studied compound of the 2 so I'm just as curious to see what the research will show. Danielle

Hi! Thanks for commenting. If you watched the whole video I review the history of why research was suppressed early on.. but we need to start somewhere. The smaller studies helped, but we've understood the potential benefits of these drugs for a very long time. Currently Compass and Usona are pretty far along in their trials which may lead to approval. Danielle

Very interesting points. I see great potential for psilocybin therapy but I think you need more of a disclaimer that not one size fits all. Some people with serious mental issues should not use psychedelics at all and much more research needs to be done before touting psilocybin as a panacea for multiple mental and physical issues.

Thanks for the comment and insight Sutterjack! The way I approach this is through what the research is currently pointing to however the clinical trials are promising. That said-I agree, I always try to get that very point across because (as with everything) someone's personal situation, comorbid conditions, chemistry etc...can cause different responses in different people. There are many different angles I look at a video from and I'm typically very concerned with providing the good with the bad and not making it seem like something I reference is the magic bullet for all problems. I appreciate your feedback so much. Danielle

@@lucidmed3343 Fair enough - believe me I think psilocybin has great potential for treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, addiction, end of life anxiety etc etc. I'm very happy there is a serious, professional second look being given to the potential -

Phantom massage maybe meaning a massage chair or something to that effect.

Hi Terri! I saw the phantom massage chair during my research and I think this actually incorporates something called synesthesia or the brain routing sensory signaling through different unrelated senses. It seems there's an entire library on this topic but definitely warrants further research. Very interesting and thanks for answering my shout out! Danielle

Have you ever looked into someone's dead eyes? Its pretty sad. People eventually get burned out because drugs kill you over a long period of time because it robbs you of your power, will and desire. Any enlightenment teacher worth a spit will tell you that. However, those who are on a spiritual path to happiness via drugs will not listen to anyone. So, they will do what they do and tell the tale to you later. Im sure if you looked into to personal stories of consciousness drugs here on youtube, you will understand. If not, do it and see for yourself. I hope I'm wong, but I'm not.@@SaidAlSeveres

@@SaidAlSeveres All he meant was to not over do it and take time in between your trips to integrate into life and fully process the experience before going back in. The rest of that quote further talks about how "a biologist doesn't keep his eye permanently glued onto the microscope, he takes time to go away and work on what he seen". He's saying to not just listen to the message but to get up and act on it in between the look within one's self. He wasn't saying to permanently stop using psychedelics as soon as you have a revelation about yourself or something lol that happens everytime. Everytime you get something new that you didn't have before at least with me anyway. Besides, he was talking about LSD, not mushrooms, and i hate to be that guy but those are completely different from each other. Mushrooms has a triptamine component to it like DMT except mushrooms is "4 NN phosphoraloxy di methyl triptamine". LSD(lysergic acid diethylamide) doesn't have a triptamine component, i hope this helped
