Randy Owens, Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry were all cousins and they are out of Fort Payne, Alabama. They were country superstars, won loads of awards (over 200), and were even named Artist of the decade for the 1980's. Great, talented band! Sounded as good live as the albums every time I saw them.

They are the most successful xountry group of all time. Something like 40 top 10 hits or something like that. Awesome group!

My favorite Alabama song, but all their songs were great! Glad you reacted to this one in particular.

They had a sound that appealed to both country and pop/rock. I think that is what made them so successful.
