Life in the US is not as great as it appears from there. If you don’t have a good income your life will become miserable. If you are capable of living comfortably back home, it is better to work and stay home in one’s own country. I don’t say this to discourage any youngsters but one who have had bitter experiences as an NRI!

Depending on where you go chilavu varu cheyyum. Californiail amusement parks like Disney, Universal Studios, etc cover cheyyanam enkil around $120 dollars anu ticket per park. National parks like Yosemite, sequoia, etc tickets will cost you around $60. Pinne hotel, food etc chilavu verrum. San Fransicoil hotels can cost around 150 per night. Car rentals , basic economy cars around 15 dollarsinu kittum, gas is $3.5 per gallon, etc. like I said it all depends :) . Chilapol agency vazhi all included tour packages edukkanathavum more convenient, though I personally do not have experience going on one. Hope this helps - Jiju

If moving to Houston area, I would recommend Katy. It’s one of the best suburbs for families. Katy school district is excellent. There are three acute care hospitals in Katy, including Texas Children’s Hospital. Not a lot of malayalees yet..so far two Kerala grocery stores in Katy..one Tamil grocery .. lot of Telugu people / grocery stores.. mostly IT/gas oil field ..let me know if you need any more info ..
