Hi Andrew! Are you able to do a podcast specifically on pregnancy protocols? You’ve done some great podcasts with tangential topics (fertility, hormones, etc.), but doing a full episode on what women who are newly pregnant need to know, consider, and can do for protocols would be amazing! I know a lot of my friends have plenty of book recommendations but a succinct podcast from you on the topic covering all the literature would be awesome. I’ll bookmark it for when my family starts to expand and make sure to share to all my currently expanding friend’s families! Thanks for everything!

I had my first NAD IV last night. We started the drip very slow. About every 20 minutes we’d increase. The last 10 minutes we floored it and I felt my stomach almost like butterflies. Slightly uncomfortable but not bad at all. A little head pressure, not bad at all. I researched about the discomfort and ate a meal before my injection. That may have helped significantly. The nurse mentioned I took it faster and better than most she sees and I believe it’s due to eating before. I will go 1x week 5 weeks then determine if I want to continue 1x monthly indefinitely. It’s also nice getting the vitamins and glutathione pushes.

Thank you, Dr. Huberman, for all the important information you shared. I have a question about all the supplements that I took every day (about a year ago). I took my thyroid pill with pycnogenol and collagen in the morning or mid-morning. I waited about an hour or two, and then I took NMN, Resveratrol, TMG, Berberin, and Fisetin. I usually ate my breakfast in the afternoon, sometimes in the evening!😅 Before my first meal of the day, I will take CA-Akg and Apigenin and follow with my day time vitamins, ( Multi, A, B-Complex, C, E, Taurine, Astaxanthin and Alpha Lipoic Acid ) after my first meal. In the evening, one hour before dinner, I will take NMN and TMG again. Then, after dinner, ( my evening vitamins are calcium, magnesium, omega 3, Co Q 10, zinc, and K2-D3. PLEASE HELP ADVICE, IF ALL THESE SUPPLEMENTS I AM TAKING ARE ABOUT THE RIGHT TIMING TAKING TOGETHER? 🤔😓 ( I AM 72 YRS, YOUNG). I WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE IT FOR YOUR RESPONSE. A question about the physiological sigh: Is there any difference between inhaling into your diaphram and inhaling into your lungs? In Qi Gong you learn to expand your diaphram first to inhale as much oxygen as possible before you start inhaling into your lungs but here you often repeat that the second inhale is all about expanding your lungs. I would love to hear more about fhe science of inhalation. Also how important is the sound of the sigh, sometimes when you do it it sounds different, does it make a difference and is it important to make an “Aaahhh” sound when exhaling? Thank you Dr Huberman for all your amazing work, you are a constant source of inspiration! 🤍

I am searching for a discussion on if it possible to come back to a state of personal independence, my condition was a fatty liver that crossed the threshold about 18 months ago during the pandemic into cirrhosis with a few nodes! I admit that I feel betrayed by the medical community. Yes I was told that I had fatty liver and in 2017 the ketogenic diet became my lifestyle. I didn’t live on butter and bacon either. In addition am highly inflamed with osteoarthritis in the spine and the right hip is bone on bone, I was taken off pain medication with only Tylenol 4xs a day. It didn’t make the pain bearable, I found by laying on my side in bed the pain was bearable so since 2017 pain management has been laying in bed. Now walking is a problem is this something I can heal and why is chronic pain not being treated or discussed and I hear about fatty liver but not cirrhosis, people seem to think it’s not a problem! Mental health, I am not going to say anything but it dire. Ageism has given me a expiration date. I will die very pissed off at the clown show corporate medicine care that is a pay of this country! I do hold out hope for someone that has something to offer hope.

I have a comment on importance to follow levels of NAD+ upon supplementation. It allows to connect subjective feeling of energy burst with objective measure from the blood. We all are different in the way we utilise different NAD+ precursors and increase in NAD+ will be sensed in subjected manner. What I mean is that, for example, for one person level of NAD+ in blood has to reach 45 uM to feel energy boost while for another 35 uM will make a difference. It brings us to necessity to measure NAD+ and NADH in blood to get better understanding of one well-being. NADMED kits enable measurement both metabolites from blood. Another comment about your highlight of importance of physical exercise. It also should have its contribution on NAD metabolism, like enhance NADH oxidation and result in shifts of dynamic NAD+/NADH ratio.

I've been taking them daily since the beginning of the pandemic. I've been feeling great, full of energy, and overall healthy. Of course I can't definitely attribute it to these supplements, since I've been doing more of other "healthy" things too (e.g. intermittent fasting)

How do you explain the French paradox if not for the effects of resveratrol in red wine?

It's kind of disappointing that he doesn't acknowledge that anything strengthening and protecting the vascular system would help long term health/longevity.

Question: If a substance is banned, like Dr. Huberman mentioned in this video, then how can we still buy it? I understand you said, "[NMN is not] available in the wider world." As you didn't specify the USA, I'm assuming you were referencing a host of countries not including the USA, correct? Thanks

I've been taking NMN and Resveratrol for nearly 12 months and feel no difference. I wanted to give it 12 months but seeing as energy is still low and I'm healthy dont drink or smoke and regularly exercise . Will be stopping after I finish the current bottles. All I got was expensive pee

I would love to see your take on Low dose Lithium orotate for memory, alzheimers, dementia, adhd (agression and frustration) suicide rates, brain fog after Covid 19 infection or the vaccine for it, among other potential benefits. I realize the small studies are not definitive but there is a ton of annecdotal evidence showing benefits in all these areas and more.

I have read an article saying that NR can increase possibility of getting or spreading cancer. Is there any good data on this? I feel great after taking this supplement, but I am a bit worried now.

Dr. Huberman, do you take TMG with NMN in 1:1 ratio?

Are you able to tell us what brands you use of NR and NMN
@LaurieDadourian Жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew. First of all thank you so much for all your podcasts. I am a regular listener. I had an experience with NAD that seems to be unusual and anyone familiar with NAD says it couldn't have been the NAD. I did the infusions (probably 3) and had a terrible headache. (I hardly ever get headaches.) I stopped the infusions (no more headache) and started taking NMN. A year or so later I took the NAD nasal spray and got a headache. Can you tell me anything about why this would happen? Cheers, Laurie

Try and take TMG along with NAD boosters. At least 2gm if you are taking large amounts or infusions. It helps me.
@LaurieDadourian Жыл бұрын
@@tatiananikolskaya6991 Thanks for your reply. Not sure what TMG is. I will not take NAD boosters or infusions again. I'll listen to my body. I'm happy with NMN. My question is why do you think the NAD causes headaches.

I suffer from MDD. I heard about resveratrol so I ordered it. I don't know if I can say the brand name but I can say what is written on the label: 200mg resveratrol (root extract from Polygonum cuspidatum), 12.5mg poliphenols from vitis vinifera (red wine) and 46 mg poliphenols from vitis vinifera seeds. I too one pill 3 hours ago, empty stomach, it was 10 a.m. Well, aftet 45minutes I started feeling a 'warm sensation' to my brain. Like a calming, anti anxiety effect, and more focused. It's similar to bdz effect but without that foggy brain sensation. I'm also feeling, after 3 hours, that this calming effect is fading away. I will continue with 1 pill a day as reported on the label. I also noticed a strong antidepressant effect with another supplement. It's L-arginine containing also liposomial vitamin c. To feel the antidepressant effect I have to take 2 vials, each one containing 500 mg liposomial vitamin c plus an 1.66g of arginine, with a time distance of two hours between the two vials. It also makes my emicrania and my aching bones desappear. This is my personal exerience and I don't want to suggest anything to anyone because everyone has a personal health story and has to know if that supplement can be taken by him/her also looking to potential side effects, but maybe some researchers who can read this can have a feedback by someone who suffers from MDD with atypical symptoms such as hypersomnia, hyperphagia etc. Thank you Andrew Huberman. I really respect you a lot. Sorry for my 'not perfect english. I'm not a native speaker'.

I tried NAD infusions, I would say it takes a few hours,if somebody do it, pkease do it really really slowly, one drop per minute to make it tolerable, otherwise it feels awful. TAD infusions also help to increase energy and physical performance or liposomal gluthatione as an oral spray.

For Nsdr to be effective does it need to be a pre recorded script? Sometimes I do more of a self directed body scan and I’m curious if that lessens the effectiveness because my mind is thinking more about what to scan next and such. Would love to hear more about types of scripts and which are more effective

I'll opt for the inexpensive non-flushing B3, which won't cause drowsiness, while the flushing type tends to induce sleepiness. Take the flushing B3 supplement in the evening and the non-flushing one in the morning.
