2 things you missed in this episode. 1. Yes, the characters feel the pain, they show this when Swebel touches the frying pan with her swooble flipper hand. She grunts in pain when touching the surface. So the fact that Jax threw Ragatha into the fryer and stayed there for so long is kinda wild. 2. Everyone but Kinger got a B+ because while everyone in the fast food adventure hated their roles... Kinger had his own adventure while riding a bull and getting an A+

This episode hurt because I've been where Gangle was. I still am, being a manager of a store and needing to always be present and "ready to go" in a job that's making a name for itself. It's hard to not crack under the pressure especially when you aren't neurotically like most of your peers. And after all that stress and trying to fake it til you make it the worse and best feeling is the time after. Yes, you're finally able to breathe but now you're also able to think...and thinking after stress can be the most deafening and horrifying thing. When busy you don't have to think about much besides work but alone and in the quiet? All you have is your thoughts and those thoughts soon become loud static as the world blurs around you and you realize you're dissociating in the silence. Seeing Gangle nearly abstract brought me to tears, I really thought she would lose it and I, just like she did completely forgot Pomni was still there. We see Jax, Ragatha and Zooble leave but it didn't hit me until she popped up Pomni was still around and I legit think she saved Gangle's life.

This episode definitely relates to all the many workers at any fast food joints when it comes to the stress and mental levels of trying to keep a positive attitude. Good lord, even not working at a fast food, I can feel that mentality with Gangle, especially when it's hard to find a job where not every employee is testing your limits and patience to the point of just seeing and hearing them doesn't trigger you. I appreciate seeing Zooble and how she just does what she can through that fast food shift. Gangle you can feel when it comes to wanting to do your dreams vs being told your dreams are terrible and you should get a real job. I'm definitely curious what the next episodes will unfold given now we need a Ragatha and Jax focus episode on why they are the way they are.

I say things to make others feel better and doing so feels more important than being genuine because I am so focused on people pleasing and wanting the environment I am in to be as peaceful as possible. @@carnage0685 Honestly kinda hard to truly pin down why I am like this. I grew up in a standard upper middle class family with 1 sibling both parents, all extended family, unconditional love all around and not based on personal success. Decent grades and tutors when wanted, I could do any extra circular I wanted. I do know familial anxiety runs deep on one side and it was hidden from me because I was my grandma's favorite (she based her love off of appearance). I would say it is safe to say I inherited it too. Even though I don't have an example of it I feel like perfection was placed on me and I had to remain happy (unless the situation called for it like a funeral) in order for others around me to be happy. Without trying to sound odd (?don't know the right word?). Most people would look at my life and say I have everything and lived an easy life with little challenges. But underneath I insulted myself, told myself I was dumb, called myself ugly (I am getting a graduate degree in a medical field, and like I said before grandma's love is based on appearance and I am still the favorite). I feel like in order to shut that part of me up that says I am undeserving I fill it with volunteer work and will say things to make ANYONE around me happy. If someone lost their wallet earlier that day and yelled at me I internally feel like it is my fault. So I make up for it with a cheery disposition. What I would like to see in Ragatha is a more internalized struggle causing the forced cheeriness and NOT life events that lead her down this path. Not all struggles are because of an event or upbringing, sometimes you are just made that way. Sorry if this sounded odd.

The way Gangle runs off after her shift is how I felt when I would get off my shift of co op work when I was in high school. I worked at Salvation Army so naturally I was stocking things and waiting for my shift to end so I could run back to school and let out my stress watching KZbin songs and just vibing before I had to go for bus. After Co op was done I had regular classes. I miss high school.

After watching this episode where Gangle gets to have character development, I fell in love with her. She is such a sweet character with big dreams. She also represents what I could’ve been had I stayed in the fast food industry any longer. I used to work at Captain D’s (it’s a seafood fast food restaurant) and I remember how much I HATED working there. Okay, I didn’t hate it at first, but for the next five years, I grew to hate working there because the wage was AWFUL!!! Eventually I got fed up and decided that enough is enough and I now work in the warehouse industry where the pay is better. If they ever get back to the real world, I hope Gangle achieves her dreams.

That messed me up later in life as now im overally talkative (maybe even to my detrement) so I do understand how bad a job at a food restraunt can be despite not working that job myself. Something that might be worth noting is that, in the previous episode, Kinger says that the worst thing you could do to someone is make them feel unwanted. I just realized that line may have tied into this episode, especially if we get confirmation later that Gangle would've abstracted here if it wasn't for Pomni. Side note: Considering that the next episode is going to be about Ragatha, I think the way they approached the character was a good way to lead up to it.

IM SURPRISED, with how good Episodes 3 and 4 back to back turned out considering the quality with Episode 2, episode 2 wasn’t bad but compared to the other 3 episodes/ other 2 including the pilot, Episode 2 was the weakest imo, Pomni and Gummigoo’s interaction wasn’t really that resonating, but thank F*CK, this episode came out and showed Gumigoo interacting with Pomni, because now it feels like Episode 2 was a setup for this interaction, it also gave more character to all the circus members except Kinger and a little bit of Zooble since they got theirs last episode, and I can honestly resonate with Gangle now, also loved the Analog horror vibes with this newest episode. Honestly now, (as of now I still haven’t watched Murder Drones) The Amazing Digital Circus easily became my favorite Indie show with these last two episodes, and I can’t wait for more, tbh I think I really enjoyed it because last two episodes didn’t have much buildup but just had enough to make you realize a new episode is coming out, which is why I think these two newest episodes were so shocking since they didn’t put much high stakes and expectations unlike many shows and movies do, As much as I love HB and Lackadaisy, and probably another indie show I saw but forgot it’s name, well HB will be used most as an example since it’s pretty much the show with most episodes rn, I feel like with how much info Vivzie gives us for the upcoming episodes, it sets the expectations and stakes high enough to the point where we can feel a flaw somewhere in any new episode, but I still have hope for HB since it’s got like what? 30 more episodes to go? I won’t judge it much unlike TADC since TADC will have like 8-10 episodes only, but otherwise I’m becoming what Pastra is to Bendy and The Ink Machine, it’s biggest fan even if not everyone will agree with me and like the thing.

we're starting to see that theres a logic behind the forms they have. Zooble is a bunch of interchangable pieces because shes not happy with her body. Gangle has the masks where shes easily made sad because she has depression. I think the new mask was supposed to represent a new medication and while it felt good at the beginning it had negative affects and made her suicidal. I theorize that Ragatha is a doll because she came from an affluent family that liked to make her dress up to fit a certain appearance and made her be a certain way. She was raised to please the people around her. Pomni is a Jester because shes the unwilling clown and often disrespected and mocked in life....and kinger is what he is because chess is a very old game and kinger is old and likely the creator of the circus
