Extra tea: Moses never actually applied for the Bach3lorette, he only said he would. Trisha was upset about him not applying, as she had expected him to, because Ethan and Hila had told her he was interested. Trisha and Moses met in the dms, and started a relationship out of spite. Also, Moses had already been married twice before getting engaged to Trisha. When he said he had been alone/single for over a decade he was lying. The real reason Hila cut Moses out of her life is because Moses predated upon young female fans of h3, and has been accused of stealthing 2 of them. The communication completely broke down when Ethan and Hila caught Trisha and Moses recording them in secret.

@@georgiaoddieOn one episode of Off the Rails, Ethan shared that he invited Trisha to do one final episode after their big blowout, she agreed and they actually did do a episode, but Ethan said it did not go well and he had decided not to post it. After the episode, he found out that Moses/Trisha actually secretly recorded the episode without telling Ethan as their excuse was ‘just in case Ethan manipulated the footage, etc.’ Later, Trisha kept blackmailing through her videos I believe, saying to Ethan that she would release the footage and ‘expose’ them. I’m pretty sure that’s what happened, if I’m wrong sorry!!

I think that Trisha is the perfect example of why just saying sorry for past wrongdoings isnt the point of apologising, its about the commitment to change to be a better person. She can talk up and down about how much shes changed, but what direct action has she put into making up for harming people?
@ethicalibra
@ethicalibra Жыл бұрын
change is slow honestly. i’m not gonna use her mental health as an excuse but shes going to have to almost fully recover before she can truly offer any sort of meaningful amends. she seems to be doing better than she used to but it’ll take a long time. it might not even happen. but regardless of all that people are right to feel like she is untrustworthy and to not forgive her
@painoftheheart12
@painoftheheart12 Жыл бұрын
Maybe yall should realize that the point of change isn't to make amends. Sometimes it's keep moving forward but in a different direction. You can't put the shit back in the horse. She has no obligation either to make amends. It's called radical acceptance. It will never be resolved and that's okay. Move on. That is literally what we are taught to do in recovery for that specific disorder. NOT go back and try to mend anything, because the rumination is a trigger. But to just let it all go and choose differently in the future. You all should get some therapy too if you think you are entitled to anything just because someone offended you
@notlurking2128
@notlurking2128 Жыл бұрын
@@painoftheheart12 you kind of are twisting my words here. My issue with Trisha is that she repeatedly 'takes accountability' and apologises for things, but then she does something equally as horrid or venomous, proving that her apology was just words and not a commitment to change. If she was to change without apologising, that still wouldn't be great, but ultimately that's not my problem with her now. I've been through DBT. I know about radical acceptance. What you've defined as radical acceptance was not how I was taught about it in my course, it was more about accepting your whole self, negative parts included, and being able to move past the desire to procrastinate or shove down negative throughs and instead let them be a part of you. It's not about not apologising to people. I honestly don't know where you got that idea. Its also important to point out that influencer apologies are not like personal apologies in your relationships. They work in a different way.
@painoftheheart12
@painoftheheart12 Жыл бұрын
@notlurking2128 I'm saying this at the front because your lack of being taught real radical acceptance just because you had a therapist who taught you their version of it needs to be addressed before everything else. DBT was made FOR BPD. Specifically. Which is why it is IMPERATIVE that radical acceptance extends BEYOND THE SELF. And COMPLETE radical acceptance has a focus on ACCEPTING A LACK OF CLOSURE congrats you identified the mental illness. That's what a personality disorder is. People are going to do awful things if they think it was a good idea. And you even pointed out, Trusha does something ELSE. So you can't claim that she doesn't mean her apologies. She tries not to make the same exact mistake twice. And that is the mental illness. And radical acceptance has many many layers to it in therapy. Accepting yourself and where you are, and accepting what's happened. Just move on. It is necessary to just leave the broom even though you haven't finished sweeping. That is the anecdote the creator of radical acceptance gave to the reasoning behind the creation of acceptance in DBT. Just stop what you are doing whether it is resolved or not. Radical acceptance in DBT IS NOT just some body positivity style self love. It's way way more than that. And if that wasn't how you were taught it, then you weren't taught the entirety of it. Nothing Trisha has done has ever been on par with people like James Charles, Shane Dawson or Colleen. She's said things that were not okay, or just blatantly ignorant and made herself look as stupid as possible with some shitty take. But never has anyone walked away being harmed by anything Trisha has done. No one's Trans journey was hindered because Trisha identified as a Chicken Nugget. No one was quoting Trisha on alt right KZbin as some kind of authority on fascism when she word vomited about Obama. Okay? She hasn't done anything really at all that bad to the people of the internet. She has absolutely done some horrible things in her private life like hitting her husband in a fit of rage. But that's not anything KZbin deserves an apology for. She's doing a good job in this video. You can actively see her talking herself through DBT lessons. Distancing from the situation, not letting herself get too overwhelmed with ruminating. She's doing good. You don't have to like her. She's not asking you to. But not letting someone be allowed to move on because you think they shouldn't be allowed to show change rather than claim change is an interesting one.

Who in the right mind genuinely wants to pretend like they had no idea what the holocaust was whilst being over 30 years of age? Anyways at the end of the day it doesn't really matter whether it's an act or not. The only thing that is factual here is that she is detached from reality. The problem with stating it's 'just an act' is that it allows for someone to disregard responsibility for actions, in the same vein as "it's just a prank bro".

Thank you, I forgot the good segments of frenemies after all the dark that came from it. I hope off camera they will have a better relationship. Even now, Ethan does support and worry about Trisha with the ongoing Colleen allegations. If Trisha really wishes to get back into the podcast genre, I hope she can surround herself with solid folk on the level of Ethan and can withstand the chaos of Trisha.

god, once frenimies ended, i hopped off the youtube drama train but kept up with JUST Trisha. They are just, WOW. They've grown and shrunk SO MANY TIMES there is no keeping track, and they themselves are in and make so much drama even when they are just sitting there crying on the kitchen floor, that i dont need or want any other drama. I miss Frenimies so much, because it gave me the "gift" of Trisha. A truly chaotic person, that i cant stop watching and judging and just really asking, "how is this an actual person in the world" 😂

Okay but to be fair to ethan English as a major is more like having a literature major. Like you are reading books and learning the history of creative writing in english/english speaking cultures not necessarily grammar which more likely would be linguistics major (and only if they specialize in grammar/semantics). He prolly had to take a few random linguistics classes but you are not taught grammar in university like literally we are taught grammar in elementary school (hence the questions aimed at 5th graders being grammar ones). We are taught it at the beginning bc it's a basic aspect of writing and it's meant to be up kept by our constant use of it as we go through school but most ppl are not required to do any form of long form writing beyond school so it makes sense that ppl lose their knowledge of it esp someone as old (42) as ethan

The person who knows the most detail about these two and does a spectacular deep dive in Moses and the information behind the scenes is Gem Reloaded! She started with Frenemies reloaded podcast and would dissect what was happening and predicted a lot of the downfalls. Once Frenemies ended GEM Reloaded found text exchanges beteeen Moses and his friends and references many episodes to back up her claims. It’s incredible research! I think Gem Reloaded’s channel is like Swoop docs level and her content is worth checking out if you’re interested in Frenemies content
