I won’t lie I was kind of siding with Keke’s BD when she was getting serenaded ,but the only thing I felt was that he should have said something in private. In hindsight, your absolutely correct that was controlling behavior and we should call out those things when it comes to other black women

The thing with apology is that you're allowed to be wrong and or change your opinion. Some people need to apologize or be apologized to in order to heal and move on, and some people don't. It depends on the person. Apologizing is a way of maintaining integrity, self-respect and moving on towards better things.

@ravenswood118
@ravenswood118 Жыл бұрын
Flattery is one thing, but don't you think your partner is beautiful, smart, interesting? What's wrong with telling them so once in a while? The only parter I've ever had that had a difficult time giving me a compliment was an abusive man who wanted to erode my self esteem so that I stayed with him.
@Ki-Yemaya

@Ki-Yemaya
@Ki-Yemaya Жыл бұрын
@ravenswood118 I'm not sure if you're being willfully obtuse or not. However im speaking on the video when she brought up lying. Flattery is insecure praise. Please have a good day.
@ravenswood118
@ravenswood118 Жыл бұрын
@@Ki-Yemaya Are YOU being obtuse? I am simply telling you that your partner, if they say they want words of affirmation, they are asking you for compliments, not lies. And you purposefully withholding that, even when they say they'd like to hear it, is weird and potentially emotionally abusive. If your partner is a good person, I hope they find someone who is willing to tell them how wonderful they are!

I do see where you’re coming from with the jidenna topic but it kinda aligns with the purpose of the clip for him to talk about how he recognized his toxic behavior because better help is all about counseling. It was corny but the video plays into how counseling helps people see the error of their ways and gets them to be a better person.

What he could have said was that the years he spent going through women and being toxic affected his mental health and he sought help for it!! That ish was real wack and probably didn’t convince anyone to seek therapy

I’m the kind of person that wants to have hope in humanity, I once use to even believe that most men’s where really just simple beens that just seek for peace and that most women was the drama carriers, but honestly every time that I learn more about how most men operate in such a selfish, depraved and cynic way it just disgust me. I know that their are still few good seeds in the world, I just pray that God protect them and allowed them to be the ones that extend their genes.

So whats the solution here!? Where's the content where we show eachother how to love eachother, and be in healthy lasting relationships!? We need that content, because we all can sit around and talk about trauma!! So lets give eachother the blueprint for lasting love in the next video.

ngl, women have been giving yall (men) solutions. we tell yall to go therapy, we tell yall to unlearn patriarchal and misogynistic behavior but you refuse to. men need to take accountability for their behavior. no amount of teaching is gonna to help you, if you’re not intentional!

@oIiviaaa patriarchy isn't the problem! Especially if you want a man. You see what matriarchy did to black men?? Men raised in matriarchal societies are the most efficient. But it always makes sense at the end of the day. Feminist will never get a man that's worth a damn .

@@oIiviaaa respectfully, women as a collective haven’t been giving shit, either that, or they’ve been giving wrong solutions that fail to resonate with whomever they’ve been giving these so called solutions to. all these internet gender wars solely consist of both sides playing a contest of who can point the finger & trash each other the most, hence your one sided comment. hope you’re telling yourself and your fellow women to take accountability for their own behavior before telling men to do so (i doubt it)
@soundsaboutright---
@soundsaboutright--- Жыл бұрын
@tonyeffik6781 why are men asking women for solutions vs going to professionals? Another form of unreciprocated labor they want women to do and then bash them for failing at something they were never qualified to do in the first place. Women have been complaining about men being unfaithful, emotional unavailable, abusive, stringing them along, etc. Men know these things about themselves, they call it "running game". When men want to change they will take the steps needed, until then hold off on blaming women for men not doing better.
@ravenswood118
@ravenswood118 Жыл бұрын
I'm not giving any of these men excuses because their behavior is unconscionable, and I've never gone that far. But for the record, I know you feel "fully conscious" now as a person in her 20s cause that's all you've ever experienced. With every passing decade, you feel MORE conscious. In your 30s, if you grow as a human being like you're supposed to, you're going to see how dumb you were in your 20s. Or the ways in which you were acting from your trauma, which you hopefully correct as you get older. Anyway, Timbaland and Timberlake are old so obviously they still suck as human beings. They haven't even improved, they're still acting like misogynists.
