I got the my 2019 RadRhino 750W EU version and it has the 500W Bafang hub motor. Confirmed by sending the motor ID number to Bafang's customer service. Got it 2020 and still working great overall. Although the rear brake cable keeps getting water and dirt inside it, and when it is freezing it gets stuck. About 5000 km so far, battery is still almost as new. Just normal maintenance needed so far. Would buy it again.

Wow nice to hear that your bike has been great with that many km so far! Seems like it’s a solid bike for years to come.

That's Interesting I thought they just would of De tuned the 750 W motor for the EU But I suppose the 500 W version is cheaper, You can see the Difference when you take the motor out and Compare them

my reseach led me to believe that the motor was essentially the same for the EU, USA and Canada. It is basically the Bafang 500W hub, but that dosnt really mean much - you can easily put double through that and it wont skip a beat - so you can brand the same motor as 250w for europe, 500w for canada and 750w for the USA - which so far as i can tell is exactly what they did

Thanks for the info! I thought that might be the case here but couldn’t say for sure.

Lekker man! And thanks for the nice words! It’s definitely a solid option when considering an fat tired ebike.

delay is because there is a motion sensor normally 12 mini magnets to convey movement for the controller, it would be more natural if it had a torq sensor, although that also increases costs and complexity

Great video. I just got mine. Do you know the torque of the motor?
@PasiBuilds Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I’m not 100% sure but I believe the torque is 100nm.

Hey, im curious what phone mount do you have, got the same bike but look for a good mount for my phone.
@PasiBuilds Жыл бұрын
Hi! I use the Celly Armorbike. I gotta say it’s great but could be made for a bit thicker phones. I have an Iphone 13 Pro and it’s a bit too thick of a phone for the mount, especially if I have my phone case on (I usually take it off). However, the mount still clamps on to the phone firmly so I’m happy with it.

Hi mate I have a question,,,, are you able to use the full use of the throttle in the EU?
@PasiBuilds Жыл бұрын
Hi! Nope, you can only use it to get up to speed of 6km/h.
@portofluxe6326 Жыл бұрын
