Devanathan Puranam Amavasya Tharpanam is a must for every Brahmin family who lost their parent/s. Atleast 14 Tharpanam is a must in a year. Yajur/Samaveda/Atharvana Upakarma and some other events like masapirappu also Pitru Tharpanam also to be performed.

This audio posting is very very useful for people like me. Thanks for your efforts and support to all bhramins who perform Tharpanam regularly. One doubt I have swami. After sangalpam when we call our pithurus (ஆவாஹம் பண்ணும் பொழுது) Martha vargathil, பாட்டி பெயர், kollu பாட்டி பெயர் etc., varuvathu illai. It is missing I hope. தயவுசெய்து பதில் poodungo.
