Kim, you have brought my cooking to a new level! I’m empty nested and just haven’t felt like cooking for one. You inspire me with your fun and freedom of not following the recipes. I’m excited to be creative, adjust the amounts and just be creative. I like how you say, “I don’t like that (ingredient), so I just don’t use it”. For some reason that never occurred to me…. You are such a free spirit! Thanks for the entertainment and inspiration. I’m so excited to journey with your move.

I know how you feel, recently divorced and only my daughter & I to cook for. She is 24yo but like a 5yo to feed she is SO fussy which was easy when I was cooking for 5 cos she either ate it or went without but now it’s not worth me putting all the effort in to make something she doesn’t eat! HOPEFULLY will get to try a few of these!

I just wanted to say thank you. I’ve always loved cooking and baking. I’m 46 and started cooking meals for my family when my mom went to work when I was 9 and have been at it ever since. For the last 18 years though I’ve had 19 surgeries including 6 lower spine and 2 upper spine surgeries and my body is trying to give out on me. I have constant pain and it’s hard to get around. Somehow found your channel and you have cheered me up and I’ve started cooking more again in spite of the pain. Your excitement, honesty and amazing attitude is such a joy to watch. I’ve made serval of your recipes and am making your chocolate chip cookies for our church youth. Thanks for sharing your time with us. You sparked my cooking joy that had dimmed. Sorry for the long story. I just wanted you to know you are appreciated!

For your size sweet potatoes, you would need around 30 mins in the instant pot plus 10 min natural release. I make sweet potatoes in the instant pot all the time abs although it does take a while, it is nice that it’s hands off. Thanks for the great, simple recipe ideas! I want to try the maple glazed chicken and sweet potatoes soon!

Potato soup is a favorite of my kids. I just peel and chop the potatoes, an onion, some celery place in water and broth mixture with salt. Boil until tender then add butter and milk or cream and pepper. If you need it thicker just add dried mashed potato flakes. Then whatever toppings you want. It's quick and easy and super delicious! It only takes about 20 minutes on the stove top.

One of my favorite chicken and dumplings recipes is: two boxes chicken broth plus one can cream of chicken soup plus some rotisserie chicken plus a can of eight biscuits (each rolled out and cut in strips). Mix all ingredients together minus biscuits (sometimes I add veggies - frozen peas, canned carrots, whatever), then add the biscuit-dumplings and let them cook. The biscuits will puff up and soak up a lot of broth - I’ve made the mistake of using too little broth before. Anyway, suuuuuper easy and delish! Thanks for the video - these are my favorite! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I have an herb garden out side my kitchen door, I live in Maine so I have to harvest & dry each yr but always worth it. I just have oregano, marjoram, garlic chives, reg chives, sage, lemon balm, I always try to grow rosemary, but have to plant every yr. You should try it Kim @ your new home. Once planted that's it. All I did was section off across the front of the house maybe 2' to 3' out then remove sod (grass) use a brick boarder if desired, get a good weed block, lay over the area, top w/ bark (your choice of color) then cut an X in Weed block where you plant your plants, water & thats about it, I wouldn't harvest the 1st yr, let plants get established, but after that leave 3" to 4" on the plant @ the least when you go the harvest. It's good to cut plants down 4" to 5" from the ground @ least 1x during summer, they grow right back.
