You asked us to share our success stories with you. My wife and I began your keto intermittent fasting program in January this year. I started out weighing ~235 lbs. I don't know what my wife started at but in 5 months we both have shed ~40 lbs. None of the clothes we were wearing fit us anymore! I feel SO much better now and feel like I've added years to my life. I'm 67 and my wife is 63. We eat just one prepared meal a day that consists of two fried eggs over a bed of leafy greens with tomatoes and sprinkled with shredded parmesan and cheddar cheese and a different meat choice every day like bacon, sausage, ham and steak to keep it from being a boring meal. We usually have it mid morning and not once since we began this have we got hungry the entire day. We have a bowl of fresh berries and nuts in the evening a few hours before bedtime. We have eliminated processed foods from our diet completely and we can walk into the grocery store and pick up the items for our meals without any more temptation to buy junk food. ½ cup coconut oil ½ cup peanut butter 2 tbsp cocoa powder ¼ tsp vanilla 40 drops of stevia Directions Melt oil, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and sweetener. Add vanilla. Pour into molds (can use measuring cup or spoon). Freeze for about 30 minutes. Store container in the fridge!

I’m been on keto for 1 yr I lost 60lbs. Got down size 8/ 9 and really started shaking. I got down to eating only 3 carbs daily and I have added a few more carbs to make sure my sugar doesn’t get so low. I make most of my meals. I have learn so much by watching videos. All my clothes just slide off & r so big. Thanks y’all

I made them this way and they were real good. Today I'm adding either some flaked coconut or some sunflower seeds before freezing - maybe a little of both. And I use an ice cube tray.

I love my chocolate - bars, cakes, and ice-cream! I’ve been on the Keto diet for a month now and it is fantastic yet I miss my treats. Just made these - Wonderful!!!I’ve never eaten anything so creamy so for now I’d take these over the traditional dessert!

If you’re using Sweetleaf Stevia, DO NOT use 3 Tablespoons. I made them and almost coughed after taking a bite, it was ALL sweetener. So I dumped those... tried again with only 1 teaspoon and they taste MUCH better :) like a chocolate PB cup

Melissa Cook your comment just brought to my mind a sweet leaf stevia review video i just watched. This lady says she adds TWO packets of stevia to her coffee and her husband adds THREE to FOUR packets 😳😳! My jaw literally dropped when she said that. I feel guilty using 1/8 tsp on my coffee and they use up to FOUR packets.

Some stevia may not be pure stevia and may have bulking agents in and maltodextrin. But certainly less is more in most cases.

Dr. Berg and lovely wife Karen, your recipe is amazing! I used almond butter instead of peanut butter, but otherwise followed the exact recipe and could not have been happier. They really work in keeping you satiated for longer in between meals. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

I absolutely love these. I make them with stevia instead to avoid the dangers of sweeteners. They are life savers for my chocolate cravings to keep me on board with keto.

I mixed everything but peanut butter. Poured into molds then added a plop of peanut butter to the center of chocolate mixture. Even better tasting.

Or put a layer on the bottom, cool, then plop some peanut butter, melt the remaining chocolate mixture and pour over. OR plop the peanut butter in the molds and pour the mixture over. Fewer steps and probably the same or similar outcome.

I had to tinker with the recipe a bit to get the right ratios due to using a different sweetener, but they turned out so good. So tasty. Highly recommend!

The recipe on Dr. Bergs site says melted butter but they don't show that in the video...What to do? Isn't 9 tbl of butter just over a 1/2 cup? It's seems like a big miss. Ingredients: ¾ cup coconut oil 9.5 tbl peanut butter (or almond butter) 2-3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder 3 tbl powdered sweetener like xylitol- fine powder. (If granules are too big, use grinder to make into powder.) 9 tbl melted butter (from grass-fed animals)

I made these and they're great. I used a pb w/o sugar with chia seeds & found flax and it helps to increase the fat content. They are total yum.

There is a significant discrepency between the video recipe and the blog recipe. Nevertheless I managed to make a very tasty batch. I used filtered coconut oil as I am fed up with the coconut flavor. I also used some butter as per the blog recipe, added some vanilla as per the video recipe. We tasted with “fleur de sel” sprinkled on top. Absolutely delicious.

Thanks for introducing fat bombs... I'm a week old keto "baby". They are my life saver... I dun feel hungry anymore and dun need to snack to sustain my energy throughout the day. I'm moving from 5-6 meals to 3 meals tdy!! 🎯🎯

I find these to be much better with cacao than cocoa. I also blend up (not to powered, just smaller chunks) cashews in stir them in.

I watched this video today and immediately got on Amazon for same day delivery to make these. My package arrived just as I was making your cauliflower pizza. I really, really like these. I messed them up just a little. I didn't completely stir the xylitol so when I chew them, they are crunchy lol. But very, very delicious. Thank you!!!

Been watching Dr. Berg for years now but it was when Karen came into the picture that I actually started sharing the vids. Dynamic is very important on-camera because it pulls the audience into feeling they are part of the whole event.

Well these are fabulous The only thing the step putting them in molds is a pain so I decided just to put the whole thing in a mason jar to firm and then use a tablespoon to take out when i want...this works ..brilliantly

Just made these and oh my god!! they taste amazing, if you’re hesitant to make these, don’t be go make them right away!! The only thing is the coconut oil is a bit much, you can really taste a lot of it.. so I’ll just add less of it next time!

If you use the refined coconut oil you will have less of the coconut flavor. :)

In the video, it doesn't show Karen adding butter. I checked the link, and it calls for 9 tablespoons of melted butter. Also, in the video, she adds 1/2 cup coconut oil, but in the link, it calls for 3/4 cup. Same with peanut butter, video calls for 1/2 cup which equals 8 tablespoons, but link calls for 9.5 tablespoons. I made them like she did in the video, and they were inedible. I'm going to make them again but follow the link recipe. I love Dr. Berg's content but think they should be careful when making recipes because some of the ingredients are expensive. Also, after 2 weeks of eating keto and intermittent fasting, I'm down 16 pounds and feel great!

I used to make something like this many years ago, I called it chocolate soup. 😂 Melt dark chocolate in coconut oil, stir in cashew butter and a little salt, voila! I used to also add things like crystallized ginger, shredded coconut, dried blueberries… That made it not exactly keto but I was mostly just paleo then and it was a great treat that’s healthier than store bought stuff and it makes a great sauce to put on all kinds of stuff.

I just clicked this video to make sure that I was not cheating on the plan. haha Mixed organic heavy cream with a table spoon of cocoa powder, and a half a table spoon of cinnamon into two cups of coffee. I am doing keto and one meal a day. My meal this evening did not have enough fat in it and I was feeling a little hungry tonight. To make a long story short I went to see a bariatric surgeon on March 23rd and had weighed at my heaviest recorded ever at 587 pounds! I quit fast food immediately and a few weeks later I dropped my process carbs and on May 3rd after loosing 13 pounds from just eliminating fast food and processed carbs I went back to keto after falling off the wagon in September of last year around my birthday. Now since being on keto I am just 14 pounds from loosing the weight that I put on during the winter and fall. On May 3rd I weighed 574. This morning I weighed 513. On May the 14th I did a ten a half day water fast. That will explain how I lost so much in so little time. My goal is to get healthy and I heard that fasting can help with autophagy and that I cut establish a new gut biome, which, I did by breaking my fast on May the 25 with bone broth and a scope of collagen protein powder that had 5 different types! Then I followed a doctor's protocol to slowly reintroduce food in my life. For most of this past week I have had to put my salads in a blender. For the first few days back it feels as if you had weight loss surgery. You hath to really try to get anything down. I just been focusing on nutrient packed foods. Doing one meal a day and keto. At this point my motivation is coming from getting healthy and loosing enough weight to convince my self I dont need to do the gastrix sleeve to loose weight. What do you think about the gastrix sleeve Dr. Berg?

Your doing a great job and I'll bet you feel better too. Don't let anyone stop you. Dr Berg knows his business follow his plan, eat the right amount of fat so you won't get hungry. Read labels and watch out for hidden sugar, don't use Splenda (sucralose). I notice that when I get hungry I get a drink of water and the hunger or desire for pop goes away. You can do it don't ever give up. May the Lord bless your efforts. Heavenly Father knows and loves you he is always there for you.

WOW! These things are so good. I made them with half crunchy almond butter and half peanut butter and a little butter. My peanut and almond butter got dried out so I mixed them up with butter to save them. The combination worked well in this recipe.

I Accidentally used coconut butter instead of coconut oil will that matter? Also I used a 3 carb peanut butter with flax & chia seeds from Trader Joe’s a pinch of salt and some Shredded unsweetened coconut.

not really no. these fat bombs (like all fat) are EXCELLENT for losing weight as they increase satiation letting you go longer to the next meal, helping you hit a calorie deficit. they are not 'fun' they are good informational tools to get health and lose weight. my vegan bullshit detector is going off here.

Garland N has a point there, if you eat so much fat and don't deplete your glycogen storage, the fat gets stored instead of burned = gain weight

The coconut oil overpowers. This could be capitalized on, however. I would try adding 1/4-1/2 cup of toasted or plain coconut.

OR you can use refined coconut oil. It won't taste like coconut.

My sweetener keeps going to the bottom of the mixture. Therefore the chocolates come out unevenly sweet. I put a tablespoon of pyure (stevia blend) in granular form.

I started getting these fat bombs at Walmart in the keto section ….. now they can't keep them on the shelf $ 10.00 a box of 14 …..so now I will make my own.....thanks

Perhaps someone told you but the link in the drop down box isn't for chocolate fat bombs as it is labeled at the link. There is no chocolate nor vanilla but does List butter. Making these tomorrow. Thanks.

Hello Dr. could you make a video about your eating habits and example meals? Do you completely avoid all carbs? Even complex carbohydrates (like lentils, oatmeal, buckwheat) and fruit also avoid? As much as I understand you eat only protein, fats and veggies, yes ? and if you want something sweet you make it with natural sweeteners like stevia, yeah?
