Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (The Mini Beautiful Indonesia Park) is a quite old unique theme park of Indonesia. Even the traditional home buildings there represented each tribes and provinces of Indonesia are becoming Indonesian heritages from 20th century.

This place is a must to visit when you're in Indonesia for the first time. It's saving money and time to understand Indonesia. All traditional items including buildings are authentic. All diverse cultures of Indonesia in one place. Save a lot of trouble. On Sunday mornings around 7 am there's usually a bazaar where locals selling traditional food of many region in Indonesia. Sometimes you'll find traditional food that's hard to find anywhere. F you're really into culture and understanding tradition of Indonesia, come early morning on Sundays and spend all day until late. Rent bicycle in parking lot near Pancasila Sakti monument to explore all place here. Of course there are little buses with drivers as guide tour along the ride. Oh I missed this place a lot. I used to bike here almost every Sunday since I lived in the neighborhood.

Janet forgot to tell you guys that when using TransJakarta bus, you stop at Pinang Ranti station then hire Gojek or Grab to the main gate (Pintu Utama) of Taman Mini. It's about 2 km. Or you may go through second gate (Pintu Dua/II) which about 1 km nearer.

After the entrance to the left side of the tmii monument there is a building with Balinese architecture, it is the Indonesia museum which contains a collection of clothes and culture from various provinces in Indonesia, so if you have visited the museum there is no need to visit the house of province one by one if there are no vehicles, there is free transportation for a visitor in tmii, the car turns around to tmii. enjoy jakarta
