So jealous of you access to such beautiful plants. In order to get plants I have to take my chances and order them through the mail. My local fish store doesn’t have a great selection and snails are pretty much a guarantee lol. Tank is looking great George

Looking great! I'm sure there is a Pro tip in there as to Why the choice of black co2 line vs clear? And why in front vs hidden in back filtration? Thanks George!
@williammcdowell62574 жыл бұрын
Really very interesting George, and a visually engaging structure, intrigued by the use of T5 tubes and integrated filtering (access on a mature tank against a wall would be fun). Given the clarity of the water and lack of floating plants, even with the lack of reflectors the intensity is still probably a bit more than strictly ideal. More floating plants might have helped, at least I suspect in the settling in stage and I wonder what the photo period is? You also seem to be really pumping in CO2, which for blended water and easy plants seems generous but perhaps necessary given the relatively pretty intense lighting. I'll be following this setup with interest, though without fish I suspect light not macro nutrients is the primary algae cause, without knowing the measures of the water in the tank and the water being added, hard to be sure.

Hi George, nice video as always, thank you. I’m starting just now with an aquarium trying to do a little bit of aquascaping but it is cery difficult. Only a questuion how you fix plants on the rocks like bucephalandra or to a woods like the microsorum, by glue?

Hi, I have watched many of your videos, but this is the first time I have seen you make any real mention of water parameters. How important is pH/KH for the planted aquarium? I live in a hard water area. Will using aquarium soil and CO2 result in the optimum water conditions without using R/O water?

Does marsilea hirsuta require trimming, and if so, what does it consist of? Do you cut off the leaves that don't thrive or do you stick your scissors in the soil to cut the roots?😂
