I buy the Kroger store brand peanut butter personally I think it's better than any name brand and I have tried those. But on soup I always by Campbell's cuz the store brand ain't as good. I'm glad you have an extra shopping option now

I make pizza Mexican with tortillas ,refried beans, some tomato or pizza sauce, or salsa is better, shredded cheese, small pieces of chopped onion and green pepper. Bake flat in oven. I use parchment paper and a sheet pan, and bake or grill for however you like them done. I usually make 2 for one serving. Delicious. 😋

Family Dollar and Dollar General both offer digital coupons on their apps for $5 off a $25 purchase (20%) on Saturdays. When you check out there is usually a $5 coupon you can use the next Saturday. Sometimes the clerk will have a spare coupon if you ask. There are other coupons and cash-back offers on the apps too.

We have had a Family Dollar across the street from us for about 5 years now it's convenient. We also have a Dollar Tree 2 blocks up from my house, next to Aldi's and Lowes..Dollar Tree is my favorite though it's hard to buy just what you went in for. Anna In Ohio

Such a fun and enjoyable tour of your new store Tom. Loved seeing what they had. Some great prices, some not so much. You are very knowledgeable about comparing prices to help people. Thank you for the surprise video. So close to Valentine's Day they should have those cards. Our Dollar Tree has no freezer compartments, only a tiny one with individual ice creams as you check out. I've got 3 cast iron skillets that have been used over 50 years, 2 from my Moms side and one from Dads well seasoned. I ride my trike, you know the Schwinn style but with 3 wheels to Dollar General, Dollar Tree moved to the other side of busy SR thru my town so lost my business. I have a friend lives down my street and God Bless her she'll ask if I want to go along...last week we went to Ollies oh what fun that place is..books to garden gloves to snacks and so much more. We always buy the 25% bigger Campbell's soups for $1.25, coffee filters and cleaning and kitchen supplies, rubbing Ethol, H2O2, bar soap, toothpaste, and some medicines at DT. Often you get an even better deal by looking at the size as they often sell them for the same price. Looking forward to seeing them fully stocked. Thanks

The buggy did get a little tight but everybody was so excited to see the brand new Family Dollar/Dollar Tree! I have had a new grocery open less than one mile away and I am so thankful. What a blessing to be there in less than ten minutes. Even Spooky and his buddies got blessed with Purina Kit Kaboodle! $12 for 11 pounds...not bad for the Kitty Krew and they deserve it! Fancy Feast for sous chef Gracie too! Enjoy your new store - I am all for anything that makes life easier - God bless all!

Our dollar tree stores are separate from Family Dollar. You found some good deals. I see by mixing the 2, Family Dollar will get more business. Our Dollar Tree stores have empty shelves much of the time, and boxes in the in the way. Nice to see a clean organized store,nothing like the dirty and disorganized stores here.

Very nice store! I really need to go check out the dollar stores around here. Been in one only once years ago but just looked at the odds and ends. So much food! Looks like great competition for Wal Mart. Spooky and crew will lose their mind over the Kit & Kaboodle:) Thought about you on my last outing and added a can of sardines to my very slowly growing pantry stash for just in case times. Don't remember the price, didn't know good or bad. Just trying to stock up a can at a time. Bad weather or if I'm sick and don't want to cook. Last sickly spell I had tomato soup and crackers and was so glad I had it to grab from the pantry when I needed it.

I love Pyrex!! Am lucky to have a dollar general that’s not heavily shopped and not stocked well and a Walmart and dollar tree near where I live!! Dollar tree is great for wrapping paper, cards , party items, name brand toothpaste , brushes, name brand bar soaps, etc .. love the bargain savings
