AMAZING Shulker Boxes as seen on HermitCraft [ShulkerPlus Mod]
Iskall and KaptainWutax created this mod inspired by Xisuma's Shulker datapacks on the HermitCraft server. It is a client and server side mod, however it is opt-in for the client, as in not required to join the server.
The mod allows the player to label shulker boxes, just like item frames, and makes storage SO MUCH MORE FUN!
The mod exists for both Fabric and Forge, and for multiple Minecraft versions, it is designed to feel very vanilla+ and hopefully you like it!

Install it today and try it out! It requires no dependancies and is extremely light weight, it also uses vanilla's own data storage to save the label and as such doesn't add anything modded to your world, this means that you can uninstall and install it at will, it will not harm your world!

Seems like something the Cleaning Lady would like, since it's something that can keep groups of shulkers from becoming Shulker Monsters. After all, if they're all labeled, it's not a Shulker Monster, it's a "portable storage system."

I honestly think this just became my favourite 'vanilla plus' mod. It's such a simple change, but it could do *so much* to improve storage and is so vanilla that Mojang could probably straight up add it in without any issue or changes for most users. Whichever person came up with it (Xisuma, right?), this is such a good idea, kudos to you and thank you to Iskall and Wutax for porting it to mod format!

I think this is super cool! The implementation of using the anvil to set the item is such a nice method, just apply the label when you're naming it. Perfect in its simplicity

The overall functionality is akin to putting (hidden) item frames on shulkers, but the quality of life it provides in organisation and ease of access is *chef's kiss*. A beautiful mod and one I'll be adding to all my games in future.

Don’t know if people have said this, but I feel the orientation of the item should change based on the direction you place it, or maybe you can even shift left click to rotate it yourself. Also, I feel the Shulker opening when you dye it would be annoying if you were dying a bunch at once. Very cool mod! 👍

Instead of an anvil, because it uses levels, i feel like the smithing table might work well with it too for the labal on the item, and anvil separate for renaming.

Just so people are aware, if you use the Enhanced Block Entities mod, You need to uncheck enhanced shulker boxes in settings in order for the Shulker + mod to work. Cheers!

Its a cool idea! I've wanted a different mod that is very much inspired by your play style - I'd love a mod that enables you to have dynamic ore piles that are linked to a chest or storage system, so that when you place items in your diamonds chest, they are also placed on the pile. I know, not vanilla friendly, but I love the ore-pile style, but it can take a ton of extra time to place all those ores and mine them back up when needed.

A Thing that would be nice, is make it so when you have your mouse on your shulker in the inventory and press shift, then you can see all the stuff in the box, just like you can with tweakaroo (and that for some reason, dosn't work with this mod)

this mod should be vanilla, the feel, the look, the implementation, its all perfect, for anyone running issues with fabric please be sure youre fabric api is the latest, and all fabric mods such as phosphor are not conflicting versions and are indeed latest, as i ran into some difficulties at first when installing, but now works perfectly

with the dying shulker boxes thing for the mod. I can see another addition where shulker boxes of different colors count as seperate items, allowing you to make randomizers that will alter a shulker box's color. so you could have a loadout sent down the red line, but then randomly have it moved to the blue line. you could make it part of a minigame. teams of two or more fight it out, while one memeber sends supplies in, but there's a rare chance of those supplies going to an opposing team instead

Is there a chance you can extend the mods functionality by making it so that if a shulkerbox if completely full of a single item, the shulker box automatically displays the item instead of manually having to do it? For someone that makes a lot of farms that produces hundreds of shulker boxes worth of items, this feature would be great.

(Commented this on another post because a few people have wondered about why it isn't client side only. Apologies for the double post Iskall!): Client-side only doesn't work with placed blocks because it requires information about the shulker contents which the server needs to provide. That said, I use the client-side mod Simple Shulker Preview which displays the icons in your inventory with some other configs too.
