Thank-You! This is the first time I have seen that exercise to help the side kick. At 64 and many surgeries, my mobility is seriously lacking. I am going to try that exercise. Thank-you so much for all your tutorials.

My dojo is far and only open 4 days a week so I'm forming a training schedule to train by myself once a week, primarily to focus on kihon. This is perfect, thank you so much! Will be going through all your vids for training tips. Subscribed!

Very nice tutorial! I'll be sure to bring that exercise to the dojo. I'm a kyokushin practitioner myself, but I thinks it's important to draw inspirations from many different styles; this is a great example. Osu!

That's an awesome-looking mobility/strength exercise for yoko geri. I'll try using it right away, and look at introducing it in the dojo if I find it's working well. Thanks!

Not many people could execute a Yoko Geri correctly as it ended up as a combination of a Yoko Geri and a round house kick. Slowing it down in all it's elements make it a very powerful and rather crisp elegent technique to practice . Liked your tutorial in explaining this!

HONTONI SUGOI! I always love new ways of practicing kihon and this is no exception. Just a few minutes after watching this video I went out and tested the exercises out myself. While the "Water Wading Workout" was somewhat difficult, by focusing on the opposite opening leg, and the muscle you pointed out (and with a guiding of a broom stick), my side kicks have never been crisper! So... DOMO ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU JESSE-SENSEI! (Can't wait to see the round house kick video.)
