None of those actors love Tolkien. They love their skin color, their love what they do with their groin, and their gender. They've made idols of themselves, since that's what the woke religion is. This is a disgusting woke production that is 100% activists from the writers room to the actors. They all lined up, dropped their pants in unison, squatted and took a dump on Tolkien's grave. The all took a big whiff together and high fived - as Bezos watched and giggled.

And, now, they have moved on to the new show, "Shogun" and are demanding black Samurai. Not only is that utterly stupid and completely ridiculous just on its face, but going back in time, Japan remained staunchly isolationist for a very, very, very long time; devoid of anyone not Japanese. The first "Gaijin" -- "foreigner" or "outsider" -- permitted to remain for any length of time, were Portuguese missionaries of the Catholic Church. So, there were no black people anywhere in or near Japan. There were no white people anywhere in Japan. There were only Japanese in Japan. But, as always, the woke don't give a squirt of piss about real, actual, true history. Representation, in their twisted minds, trump reality. (heh heh...see what I did there?) The problem is Amazon is reshaping Tolkien into an image that they want. They changed characters, they changed the story, they changed the message , they infected it with their modern views and values, they changed most of it, if not all the parts that make middle earth what Tolkien wrote and they put their own spin on it, and at first glance, again it might look like what we loved but instead of the sour cream it's tofu and oat milk, it's Halbrand and Arondir (made up characters), and instead of Elrond, the military leader, we get Elrond a politician architect, and we know that he was a military leader in middle earth, and was a skillful warrior in battle and had commanded various Elven armies, including the Last Alliance with Gil Galad. And when we notice the changes that they ( Amazon) put into it, they call the rest of us (fans) the worst possible things that you can imagine. If you remember their showrunners ( Paine and MacKay) from season 1 called the fans - "patently evil", you can google that article if you want. Amazon and its showrunners are the ones that think Tolkien wasn't good enough for them. They are changing Tolkien, not adding, but changing. They are changing his characters, his story, his works. So I am not that surprised if the showrunners said that they are creating the story that Tolkien never wrote, because for them Tolkien is not good enough. I myself enjoy Tolkien for what he wrote , for the world he created, for the languages he invented. Lord of the Rings isn't about anything but itself, it has no allegorical intention ( Tolkien dislke allegory), general , particular or topical , moral religous or political, because its exactly what Tolkien wrote in a letter to Houghton Mifflin in 1955, he said that exactly : “It is not ‘about’ anything but itself. Certainly it has no allegorical intentions, general, particular, or topical, moral, religious, or political.” what he's saying is that Middle Earth is as you see it, as he wrote it. He's saying that you need to accept it for what he wrote it as, and stop injecting your own political ideologies into it and enjoy it for what it is as he wrote it.
@Makkaru1127 ай бұрын
Let me explain even further. To emphasize your lovely point. ❤❤ Avoid Rings Of Power - Amazon waited until Christopher Tolkien died early in the production of its DumpsterFire, his "demand" was that Amazon could use the Appendices to make the show, but they couldn't change the lore. As soon as Christopher died, Amazon delayed the show for reshoots, fired Tom Shippey who was the lead Tolkien scholar & friend of Tolkien himself; they wanted Jackson on the team. PeterJackson asked for the scripts then they ghosted him. Then later when asked about it he basically told them good luck.. You can blame this garbage show on Simon Tolkien, its stink doesn't reach Christopher. Firstly: they merge events (from thousands of years of history & build up towards several events but puts them all into one moment as if it’s happening in the same few years without time jumps or anything.) Guyladriel the murderous one dimensional girlboss heroine version of Galadriel never met Miriel(one of Aragorn’s ancestors) because, as an elf, she would have been sacrificed to Morgoth by the King's Men. The hobbits and Gandalf never met in the 2nd Age because Gandalf was in Valinor till the 3rd Age. Miriel wasn’t even born yet. She was born 300 years before or after the rings of power era. Also Elendil would never say “forget the past and toss it aside.” That’s the whole thing about the Faithful Númenoreans!!! Faithfulness to what’s good. To their elf friends. To the Valar, to Eru Îlluvatar. The way Galadriel acts like Fëanor when he isn’t seeing straight such as how she threatened bloodshed in the highest court of Númenor! The way she isn’t tall, the way she fights rookies doesn’t make her look strong. Should have had her spar with Elendil who was greater than Miriel in many ways even as far as lineage goes too! Have her spar with those greater Numenoreans and let the rookies laugh at their masters being vested by an elf woman holding back from actually hurting them! Now that’d be cool. (Remember. Their whole mantra was to write the book Tolkien never wrote”. Also watch them fake super fans. And then watch their social media that had nothing Tolkien on it ever. Like…. It’s painfully obvious what’s going on here. Same formula towards other titles. They’re just trying to bank on the brand of which that’s the only reason they did this. Just watch Peter Jackson’s new movie coming out and the War of the Rohirim. You’ll see that Brian Cox is involved In it along with Philipa Boyens as well as Actor for Èowyn named Miranda Otto. Fran Walsh I also believe is Involved as well! Watch George The Giant Slayer’s first video regarding the war of the rohirrim. It was beautiful. And he has a wonderful soul too. When I say first video. I don’t mean very first uploaded video though lol. ) There was also no Adar. No poppy. No Nori. No fake Gandalf who literally didn’t come the way he was supposed to which introduces Círdan. And since they screwed up the themes and lore so badly they have to dig in their heels. And they are also being sued by multiple people and groups and companies actually. The rings were forged last and not first. They were not in his sights or touch nor did he even know about them. And also guyladriel wasn’t a murderous Fëanorean either. But the note of the elven rings. They were made last and without the knowledge of Sauron. His touch never got to them. Made in secret so that whole story is thrown out the window as well. And making them first and having the obvious Sauron figure who wasn’t an elf to just be there when they’re making them and have his eye show up in the forge which wasn’t even the worst of it. The greatest of elven smiths still around which is Celebrimbor doesn’t even know what alloying is. Not to mention all their environmental scandals on top of bad CGI stuff. Full of copy past crowds and plagerisms up the wazoo. It’s also getting sued by several people and groups. I’ll also remind you that they just ran an old sick horse til it died of cardiac arrest and then only had a ten min coffee break to loosely honour this horse. Not to mention Tolkien loved animals in a deep way. They also have been causing environmental damage one of which being King Charles ancient forest to make a set. It’s scandal after scandal. And the fire in studio that took four hours to put out with firemen for yet another example. PS they don’t have the rights to the Silmarillion nor anything much of the second age let alone the first. Only the trilogy books and their appendices…. Remember that they also plagiarized tonnes of films in nontasteful instead of true a homage way… “tempest in me” but when threatening Fëanorean level bloodshed in the court of Numenor was from Cate Blanchett’s Elizabeth role which was done with grace and poise of a veteran actress(which doesn’t even sound like anything those of the great chill house of Finarfin would even act like. Again it’d be best to put Elrond there due to Elros. But ooook let’s make girlboss do everything. Even if it continues to make zero sense. )😍 fact they downplayed Elendil, Gil-Galad and Finrod is beyond infuriating and not explaining Elwing, Elronds mother beyond just showing her as a swan was pure LOLism. Like. What’s worse is Grandpabimbor…. Let’s not forget good ol’ Guyladriel either. The LOTR version of Star Wars’ Rey! Guyladriel the Female Fëanor without any of his charms and subtleties and wit… just the bloody violent rages…

The movies are masterpieces but they do Isildur some unintentional injustice, (to sell the corrosive coercive power of the One Ring). In the books, he NEVER succumbs to the ring, he instead spends his time being a fair ruler who practically gave power away to the people INSTEAD of being power hungry. He comes to realize that he is not powerful enough to truly bend the ring to his will. That it will eventually overcome him. Isildur resolves to give the ring to Elrond but is killed on the way to Rivendel. It's a tragic story of a man that tries to right his wrong but ultimately fails. In the books isildur literally repented and was about to bring the ring to Rivendell and apologize as he recognized it was beyond him even for a great numenorean connected to the faithful line of the mighty Elendil I preface the prologue & war, other depictions I LOVE, captured the themes WELL, the vibe of the whole trilogy! The significance of the duel between Elendil & Sauron was Nerffed; (He wasn’t some random old bloke in armour getting smacked around) This man was MIGHTY and gleaming with power which you’ll find out in the great videos you’ll soon react to with joy! * He and Gil-Galad; last true Elven King battled Sauron and slayed Sauron’s physical body and both died in the process. GilGalad was held high by the face for all free peoples to see as he then incinerated his bodily form to a crisp of ash! Isildur was part of the fight too but not as prominently and he just comes up to the body to cut the ring finger off and…. So one example is how easily Sauron is killed in the intro. * • He's set up as this super powered badass, but all you have to do is cut off his finger? That's not how it went down in the book, where the greatest man-king and the greatest elven-king had to double-team Sauron to strike down his body, but were killed in the effort (Isildur then cuts the ring from the corpse). Especially for elves the title of king has many meanings & by the Third Age there isn’t a population large enough to even attempt to such a thing as creating a unified kingdom, which would put a target on their backs, let alone many of them are beyond all of that anyway as it’s seen as doing more harm than anything good. * They also seen what happened when the elves fell upon the swords of their own hubris and passion no matter if it was for the right reasons some of the time. That it always ended up in some sort of tragedy which sometimes even damaged the earth itself. They had long known about what’s called the Long Defeat as ever since Morgoth’s marring of the land itself; pouring his remnants into it that caused the “magic” to slowly drain away from the land itself, which is sad because for ages several clans of elves were born there. even the greatest ancestors were “born” in middle earth awakening to the stars ! Many of who are left have accepted the next phase of their life which is to become councillors, healers and loremasters to those with the heart to listen and the desire to learn. But above all the guardians and custodians of several things and the world itself for as long as they can remain!❤ The elves “exist” as long as the world does. And Tolkien made it obvious in many ways that it’s our world as he restored Anglo Saxon culture/Mythologies and folklore, and their languages too alongside Irish, Welsh and Finnish mythologies too. Especially Norwegian(of which I am) This is what Amazon (the show that shall not be named) didn’t deliver either [[AKA the actual story which inspired everything we love into existence with games and movies and books and so forth. Skyrim, elder scrolls, oblivion, Diablo, and world of Warcraft and D&D. And Game Of Thrones was hugely inspired by Tolkien… yet as the godfather of everything and the heart of what caused many peoples lives to be saved cannot get the justice it deserves for adaptations? People literally conquered cancer because of the books and the trilogy, the books were read to their children for years. All 25 of them. The man was a hugely respected scholar and professor in the world. Translated ancient artifacts and hieroglyphs and petroglyphs and so forth for the government etc. (JRR Tolkien even rejected being recruited into the CIA several times & he wrote everyone by letter and referenced the dudes who came to him as “little boys who knew not what they got themselves into” which showed his fearlessness.). The readers of the trilogy that came out are who he writes back to despite always replying to everyone back and forth. Many people have shared the stories regarding these conversations which were past down throughout the family lines of the people who had a personal relationship with Tolkien which was hundreds of people when he was alive. Thousands. (Some are in video format too or happened to be shared later on in the video or comes up during a video about him and his work. Especially nowadays when many of us came out of the woodwork to defend professor Tolkiens legacy from amazons money grubbing hands and so forth. Giving many channels a new lease on life where some make Tolkien related content now amongst other things they create content wise.

Fuller details on second season by nerd of the rings. Looks like he’s warning back up to the community. I seen this Amazon stuff as a way for him to get connected to people like John Rhys Davies of whom he interviewed twice as well as the writers for War of the Rohirim who actually works with Philippa Boyens! He’s done great work interviewing the cast and crew from original trilogy as well as the Tolkien artists like Ted Nasmith etc.

@Little_But_Fierce_NZ7 ай бұрын
Do they even realise that black is not actually a colour? Black is the absence of light and therefore not a colour - at least from a physics perpective. Brown on the other hand is a colour so yeah, Maori are people of colour.
@nightfall9027 ай бұрын
@@Little_But_Fierce_NZ "of color" what does that actually mean? I recently bought a car of color...it's very nice. We have names for colors. It helps as an aid to describing things. Which of those trucks out there is yours? It's the F150 of color. An elf of no color...now that would be impressive...though not much to look at on screen.

A correction - We don't know if they really bought the whole Silmarillion, it's rumored for now.
@Rabbithole87 ай бұрын
I was under the impression that it can't be sold, since Tolkien only sold the rights to the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. All his other works, can't be used for adaption because the estate doesn't have the power to allow it. Simon Tolkien is free to endorse Rings of Power, but he and the other executors can't breach the terms of the estate. In other words, if JRR Tolkien explicitly stated that he did not want his works that got collected into The Silmarillion to be adapted, or didn't give explicit permission, the executors' hands are tied. Of course, Christopher Tolkien, was against adaptations and he published his fathers works under the title The Silmarillion. Thus, there is the double estate issue. So, I would be very surprised that the estate could sell rights to it for adaption.

How or WHY did the Tolkien estate decide to sell the rights to The Silmarillion to Amazon, if it's really true ? They would butcher those stories beyond recognition, more then what they did to ROP. .
