This was a really fun patch to follow along. I loved getting homework too! I made the glitch delay pingpong, added some acid bass (Dark Energy), a bell following the pitch from the chords (rings clone), and a weird bubbly rising bloop, a really fun voice to design. I really love the patch from scratch vids, thanks for all your great tips!

RIP Rob Hordijk… ❤ (the Dutch West Coast pioneer who made the Benjolin) He would have loved VCV… even though he was building analog, he made so many patches for the Nord Modular’s.

Thanks for all the Venom love Omri - I love seeing Venom put to good use, as well as the wonderful responses from all the viewers! FYI to all - Both the Gates and Volts expanders have factory presets available to make it easy to get interesting gate and CV patterns. Also, I just noticed that version 2.9.1 of Gates broke the LED gate indicators when using any of the gate modes (trigger LEDs still work). The gate outputs are still fine, just the LED indicators are wrong. I have a fix, but it might be awhile before it is released.

The new Cella Twin Peaks module looks to be a wonderful partner for the Benjolin Oscillator!

lovely patch, sir! A lot of great ideas I want to play with - I've already got places where I could see the glitchy percussive clicks could fit right in. I look forward to re-watching and digging into the module as well as your patch!

I really like this glitchy percussion voice, thank you for sharing the idea! 👍 Yes, Benjolin and its expanders are fantastic for a very creative form of randomness. When the expanders came out I could not stop to experiment with them, resulting in a large patch "Planet Rungler": kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJi4Y4qKlraUhdk
