"This idea that somehow the U.S. can set the boundaries for the world is incorrect. It's laughable," Einar Tangen, American commentator and Taihe Institute senior fellow, slams U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's "table and menu theory" and the American-style worldview it signifies. Every nation wants to have its own path to prosperity, Tangen said, adding that the idea of American exceptionalism doesn't work anymore.

It doesn't matter in this situation because they're both nuclear powers. This will not be a win for anybody. That's what no one's understanding. This is tribal primitive ape-like mentality and this is why we're not going to get anywhere. The Chinese invented the compass paper pants forks. You name it thousands of years ago. The West brung the world into modernity from what they and others invented as tools that we use to get us there now. We should all be sharing all of this. Not trying to destroy each other.
