I’m absolutely impressed by this family!!! They have the commitment, dedication, correct mindset, empathetic, don’t complain about simple things, appreciate the culture, providing employment to locals, and business savvy. If Ghana gets about 10,000 returning diasporan families with such mindsets, it would be a game changer in development, employment and culture. Thanks Jasmine for this video.

I am Sierra Leonean, and i love this family for their industriousness and their business acumen. I am thrilled to see my brothers and sisters, coming back home. Like my wise brother so eloquently puts it, we have the same blood running through our veins, ( and the same DNA too) why should we let the Chinese, Europeans and others, come to the mother continent, roughing it up, until they get to their end goal, which is becoming very wealthy off the backs of our people? our brothers and sisters African diasporans need to start coming over here, to their motherland now, which is certainly their blood bought right to do.

😅😅giving a little something is just giving a tip...same as in the west. You tip without being asked. I just love my American/Caribbean brothers and sisters coming back home. Just remember you only have to live with the people to learn more about the culture, language, likes/dislikes...and you will fit in. Its just the same way we Africans have to adapt when we go to America/Caribbean or Europe really. We change our mindset/attitude/likes/dislikes/food/culture etc, etc to fit in...you do the same and you'll be just fine

Let them understand that those who help them with their luggage are working so they gotta pay them, they don’t know you and won’t help you out for free. Even we citizens here pay for petty things so it’s normal.Just like back in USA when they go for groceries shopping they put the things here 🛒 and push it themselves but here you buy them from market which will probably be a lot of things you can’t carry yourself so whoever that comes to help you out is doing a job so you gotta pay them even if it’s building house here. I’m happy for them finding peace here that’s what’s needed in life. But the fact that they ask you for money for just directions is very bad but they see you as a rich person that’s why
