Well, I'm from the town where the palace featured on the freeze-frame on which you ended your reaction is. In fact my high-school is behind that palace. It's the town of Iași, in northeastern Romania. And I speak romanian, english, italian and french.

When I was in school , about 40 something years ago, we were taught French and Russian. Then about 30 years ago English began to be the main language that students learned . I learned it from watching movies, listening to songs .

My native language is Romanian but I speak English, German, Italian and Spanish. German because I live in Germany and Italian and Spanish because they are easy to learn for us and I start talking and understanding them without knowing 😂. Also I understand Albanian 40% and Bosnian 50% because my husband is Bosnian and a lot of his friends are Albanian

Hi, I'm Romanian. I started learning English when I was about 5 or 6 yo while watching cartoons on Cartoon Network, dad saw I took an interest in it and hired a tutor until I reached 8 yo and started learning it at school in second grade. We're also taught French in school, although that didn't really stick and my French is currently dreadful. I think most native Romanians understand a bit of Spanish and Italian without taking prior lessons as the languages are quite alike. Portuguese too.

7:40 Romanian and English of course. French in middle school for 4 years, hated it. Spanish in highshool for 4 years, quite liked it, but can only understand a bit, barely speak a few words. And also Latin which is at the same level as spanish. Also in Romanian school you don't decide to study stuff, you have fixed subjects. You can only chose a HS profile, like philology (languages and human stuff), natural science, math-informatics(IT), economic, social, sport, technic. Each HS is ranked from best to worst, each HS can have one or more profiles. You enter a HS based on the 8th grade exam (math and romanian) and 5-8th grades marks. If you later want to change HS or profiles (in the same HS or another) you need to meet the minimum marks and take a test in those profiles specialization. 9:40 Also Orhodox church doesn't refute science or goes against it, like the sects in the west do. Kind of annoying this guys tone when he said that. Quite a bit of monks are actually science majors or engineers.

It's good that you found some gypsies to photograph. Gypsies are indigenous people from India who came as slaves in the 18th century. But haven't you photographed the gorgeous Romanian women, the most beautiful in Europe? You have something with gypsies. India recognized them as an Indian minority in all countries.

Your ignorance of our own country's history is staggering. The gypsies (as you like to call them) started to arrive here in the late 14th century, most of them already enslaved and captured from or sold by the ottomans. Because initially they were not christians they were not freed, just as turks, tatars and others who also were kept as slaves. In the 18th century their status slowly worsened as their value as agricultural workers increased even if many of them took to the trades as metal workers, carpenters, entretainers etc. In the 19th century over 85% of them who were still enslaved were belonging to various monasteries agricultural domains.
