This is an interesting video to react, I liked it because it's a bit more informative than just watching a compilations of injuries 😅

Great concept for a reaction video, i believe other doctors did similar stuff with other football injuries too. ❤

Wasn’t an injury however erikson heart attack was the worst one I’ve watched live. Literally died on the pitch was a very somber moment
@keebs67Ай бұрын
Just seen it is in the video😂 they stopped the game however they played it that night or the next day I can’t remember fully

I still remember Marc-Viven Foé, at the time it was unheard of. Unfortunately in recent years those sort of situations seem to be common thing
@sehu1291Ай бұрын
And the death of Foé on pitch at the semi-final of the Confed Cup 2003. So it was not a random match. And Antonio Puerta who died days after he collapsed in a match for Sevilla in 2007

@@keebs67they played after an hour or so of interuption. Scandalous. Denmark reached the semis in this tournament but in this match they played really worse of course after the incident. Reminds me of the bomb attack on the Dortmund bus on the way to the CL game against Monaco. Marc Bartra was seriously injured. But UEFA wanted Dortmund to play the next day. Dortmund went down absolutely in the quarter-final against Monaco. That was also the reason why Tuchel left Dortmund because there was a huge argument with Dortmund's boss because Tuchel refused to play. The freak who made the attack on the BVB bus wanted to kill as many players as possible to lower Dortmund's share price, he had previously traded for tens of thousands of euros on the stock exchange that Dortmund's share price would fall. Naturally, the stock exchange supervisory authority immediately became aware of this. He got the idea from a GTA mission

13:30 to be honest, in this game, Zidane's headbutt didn't had as much impact on his "career" as Trezeguet's missed penalty, they made a whole song about him missing
@matheussalmaso6685Ай бұрын
He didn't cover in the video but both R9's knee injuries are worth a video on its own. And like you said, the fact that he was able to play again, albeit not as explosive as before, is remarkable!

when it comes to football injuries there is one that No Croat will ever forgive And that's Dudu's (Eduardo Da Silva) leg injury I think everyone in Croatia Wanted Martin Taylor to be banned for life after that

Osimhens inhury when his eye poped out was one of the most brutal. His whole face was broken
@ingobordewick6480Ай бұрын
The headbutt is such a strong black shadow on Zidane's career, because first of all, he was not a player known for unfair play and second, this was his last ever game for the France national team. That's why it will always be remembered as the ending point of his career for the national team. Also it happened in the final, which means that the whole world saw it and he robbed himself and the team for another world champion title.
@matheussalmaso6685Ай бұрын
Not only last game for France but his last game period.

@@matheussalmaso6685 Yeah, I wasn't 100% sure about that and didn't want to spread false information. Thanks for the info buddy!

The first scene was from the night of sevilla at World Cup 1982. One of the best football matches ever. Just have a look at the surreal scoreline. And on top the dramatic equaliser in extra time was a beautiful biycicle kick by the king of biycicle kicks Klaus Fischer. And than the heat on the pitch after Toni Schumachers foul. It was so intense. Like the match of the century at the WC 1970 Italy vs Germany

the wildest injury ive ever seen is alan smith blocking a free kick and his leg just snapping in half that was nasty

About a month ago a Nacional-UR player (Izquierdo) DIED on the field in a match against São Paulo FC. Interestingly, 20 years ago a player (Serginho) died on that same field also from a heart attack…

I was on the stadium watching that game when Neymar got injured 3:00 We knew that he wasnt faking that one

Just as recently as August a Uruguayan player died because of a heart attack that happened on the field in a Copa Libertadores match. Sadly, it happens more frequently than we imagine.

watch defenders talking about messi, it would give you new perspective of the game. ferdinand talk about messi and ronaldo nazario, he said they were the best 2 players that he face.
