British rapper: raps about gun American viewer: goes off on the pros and cons about it
@BAM173jkl Жыл бұрын
funniest shit is, I'm British, and I know he was wrong. the AK47 isn't one of the worst guns. it is legendary for its reliability and consistency, which is probably what the bar was about anyway.

JME was one of my idols growing up, and hes a real guy, like a real real guy, makes his own choices, doesnt get swayed or influenced by anything, for a long time he only wanted to release his music on Vinyl, because he still uses vinyl and thinks if you really listen to music you'll get it on format. Vegan, fights for environmental causes, very interesting person if you just listen to him, and he can make a banging beat in 10 minutes flat ! Hes done alot of legendary grime stuff but I dont think a song like "Pricks" would be appreciated more on this channel ! So that would be my selection for a reaction if you did another

Yes JME is a Don producer, MC he’s the brother of Skepta both OGs from the Grime Music scene

2 years late but u have the first comment. JME started rapping first, skepta was a DJ and producer, then became a rapper. And now skepta is back to doing EDM HOUSE music
@benjaminchristianhay3 жыл бұрын
96 Fuckries has a cool music video and does a reasonable job of showcasing JME's style. His brother Skepta is also a big name in the scene - one of the OGs in London. I'd recommend Still Sittin' Here by Fekky featuring basically all of BBK (BBK are a grime crew including JME and Skepta) is a pretty good sampler of some of the big names.

Man Don't Care is another track from JME and is probably the track that he is most well known for. Also one of my all time favourites from the UK Grime scene

P is for a penny. So like when buying something you can get 1p or 2p change etc. But then in slang terms "P" means money, so for example "I'm not doing this for P" wouldn't mean 1 penny in that context, but just money in general.
@I_Is_Ramped3 жыл бұрын
Listen to anything JME with the genius lyrics page up and your mind will be blown, easily one of the goats of the UK. his word play, cadance, creativity, his personality outside of the music, all completely unmatched, but you can't truly appreciate his musical talent without knowing what he's talking about.
@liamlyons6645 Жыл бұрын
I love how the first thing you said about the AK is that it’s accessible. Bearing in mind JME and Skepta made grime popular id say that ‘his bars being like an AK’ are spot on.

'Free P' P being a slang term for money in general. P, as has been mentioned below, can also refer to pennies in cash (£4.20p). Because of how interchangeable that letter is when referring to cash in the UK it lends itself well to the sort of wordplay JME is quite fond of.

The thing about the AK-47 is that you can drag it through water- mud- dirt and it will still perform... another feature is that the bullet will go right through. The military meaning is that it wounds... so you're not just taking out one guy from the fight, because military rules dictate that you get your wounded buddy to safety meaning that you've taken out at least 2 or 3 combatants from the fight. Don't consider the AK just as a gang weapon... it's way more deadly on a battlefield.

Oh man 😂 so P means money in the UK but also British Pounds are made of 100 pennies which we also call p. For example 50p plus 50p equals £1. If you relisten with this in mind the context of each reference to 'p' becomes clear 😂

@karmannghiaman10413 жыл бұрын
@@keenzoblock5782 pretty sure that when I was in the military they used to tell us that the reason it was so popular, other than being cheap, was that it wasn't prone to jamming and it wasn't too fussy on the ammo, basically someone who had an AK could use the 7.62 ammo from a SLR but the SLR user couldn't do the reverse. Then again, I'm British so don't really care about guns in general.
