That call on Jordan Favors was garbage. He literally was blocked, and stumbled into the returner, yet they still called targeting. That was clearly not the intent of that rule and Favors should be able to play the first half on Thursday.

Bro, you and other ECU people continually list mistakes made by ECU. If not for a busted play that led to a long touchdown throw and a poor decision by Joey to throw that flea flicker, ECU has 6 points. Kaedin Robinson also fumbled a ball near the Red Zone. Mistakes were made by both teams, not just ECU. It’s easy to rationalize the outcome by saying that ECU left four points out there, when the difference was two. However, in doing so, you ignore the unforced errors made by App State as well and if we are counting mistakes that could have changed the outcome, we also have to count App’s. ECU had no business being as close as they were with such a huge deficit in time of possession and total yardage. The only reason they were in the game was the pick six on a very bad throw and the busted coverage. Game should’ve been probably 24-31 to 6 or so.

NC State thought they were gonna win the ACC this year? Myrtle Beach Bowl at best. Most the teams in the ACC will just run the ball straight up the middle. Those in glass houses shouldn’t throw rocks.

@@Wolfpacker1022 I think you need to take a look at ECU schedule for the rest of the year. You might wanna also look at my comment about the coach below. If I use excellence and culture over nonconference wins, it’s infuriating the fans but he believes that’s what creates a program that wins championships while we discussed the battle he is trying to win the war. I don’t know if he’s right, but at least he has a plan and he sticks to his methodology even when it hurts. Might want to look at states methodology. Currently, state has three defensive tackles over 290 pounds. This defense is set up under the assumption that the offense will be scoring so many points, that the other team will have to abandon the run game. However, you will see that teams will choose to run the ball and throw screens, forcing the defense to run side to side. By the fourth quarter those three defensive tackles will be exhausted. This is a strategic flaw. The coach could have six or seven guys at this position and it would not jump out at opposing coaches. Just look at the rosters of You’re a fellow ACC members. They all have the ability to put mass in the middle that is fresh. Florida State has a whole bunch of it and still Georgia Tech and Boston College moved them around.
